Gem tale costs dealer Rs 1.5 crore
Express News Service

New Delhi, September 8: A PROPERTY dealer was cheated of more than Rs 1.5 crore by conmen, according to the West District police.

Harbans Lal, a Prashant Vihar property dealer was approached by Parminder Singh in April this year to discuss property matters. Parminder allegedly told Lal that one of his friends owned an original naagmani, a mythical gem with magical powers, worth several crore in the international market.

Officials said repeated stories about the ''fabled'' naagmani got Harbans Lal hooked. On July 27, Parminder allegedly took the property dealer to Kolkata to see the gem and get it tested by an expert. The ''expert'' however, was an ally of Parminder. The deal was settled for Rs 3 crore and Lal agreed to pay half the money up front and the rest after the gem was delivered. On returning to Delhi Lal got indecisive so Parminder allegedly took him to one Maharaj Devdass in a Vrindavan ashram on August 2. Devdass not only confirmed that the gem was genuine, but allegedly, also offered to get it sold in the international market through a firm White tar Co in Bangalore. Devdass, allegedly, introduced Lal to one N V Kumar who claimed to be a representative of the company. Lal paid Rs 1.5 crore to Parminder Singh, his brother and cousin. He was then taken to Kolkata where the gem was handed over to him. At that moment, five men claiming to be from the Crime Branch entered the room, arrested all the men and seized the gem. They ordered Lal to leave the city. Lal returned to Delhi and complained to the police on September 6. Investigators zeroed in on Parminder and his cousin and arrested them. Rs 9.5 lakh were recovered from them.

Meanwhile, police teams are being dispatched to Kolkata, Bangalore and Hyderabad to nab the others who, said officials.

^^^^ Sorry Gracella but ur explanation wasnt fully clear... 😆 Female snake that transforms itself into....into what??? U havent written that....
But i guess it will be "human"... PLEASE CORRECT me gracella...

If so i will say...i neither believe, nor "dont believe". Since there is no solid proof that it does exist, i cant really believe in it...and then again since no one has also prooved that it "doesnt exist" i cant also believe in that. I will say that they might exist...they might not...

But it wud be really interesting if anything of that sort wud have existed...maybe they do...deep in the forst...deep in the ocean...deep inside the mountain...who knows??? 😉

from what I have heard ...an ichadarrinagin is a nagin that can tansform itself into anything...it may be a human, aminal....i mean anything....I think the nagin has to wait 100 years and after hundred years it'll starts to form the naag mani......(my friends mom told me this in detial but about few months ago....i don;t clearly remeber all of it.....My mom actually told me that one of the men from our village in India saw a ichadarrinagin walking in front og him...cause that nagin would change into something after a while...but who knows???? Also my mom told me that one way to get hold of a nagin is to get her in her human form as a woman.

well if i found out anything else...I'll write more...

Well personally I dont think the concept of Ichadhari Nagin is true, cos I dont think it is possible for a 'naagmani' with magical powers to exist, as the concept of objects with magical powers seems unreal to me, and if it did exist, it should have been discovered by someone in some part of the world (among many other things discovered by scientists world wide), but I dont think I have heard any stories regarding this. And a snake changing into a woman sounds more unbelievable to me, as the physical body is fixed and even supposedly powerful things like ghosts, spirits, etc look for physical bodies to get into to function 😳, so i dont think changing an already existing physical form into another form is possible as how can an entire anatomy change into another 😕 .
