I was telling Liyah yesterday that people have stopped trying. When I see him make an effort I can't think of not giving him a chance. He deserves a chance to make things right, to become a better version of himself, to learn from his mistakes, to be happy.
He's led such a lonely and difficult life. He has made mistakes but his suffering has always been so much more in comparison. Despite receiving forgiveness, the man carries the weight of his guilt and will carry it to his grave.
Even if it takes him a decade to make amends I don't see him stop trying. He will try till she will forgive him.
