Now if they want to find the same love, they need to first let go all the past burdens, burn the old miseries and then rise back from the ashes. This is essential for them.

Raghav is not able to accept himself and own up his mistakes, how will be accept Pallavi and her love.

Everytime, she comes back. So he's not thinking what will happen post her departure and how he needs to be desperate to prevent her from leaving.

After the revelation, when she actually leaves, thats when he'll jolt out of his guilt and rush to get her back. It's like how for 10 long years, he kept begging Amma to take him back. He kept repenting. He kept hating himself. This time too, he's going to land into the same ditch where he'll take anything that she offers to hold her back. (Please writers... for once kuch acha likh do)

I was telling Liyah yesterday that people have stopped trying. When I see him make an effort I can't think of not giving him a chance. He deserves a chance to make things right, to become a better version of himself, to learn from his mistakes, to be happy.

He's led such a lonely and difficult life. He has made mistakes but his suffering has always been so much more in comparison. Despite receiving forgiveness, the man carries the weight of his guilt and will carry it to his grave.

Even if it takes him a decade to make amends I don't see him stop trying. He will try till she will forgive him.

Soni, this is everything I've been saying for the last couple of months, and this is why I've never been able to give up on him. He is frustrating at times, and makes me want to scream at him but I can never give up on the Raghav or the Pallavi I've come to love in all these episodes.

@b: This. I see people often judging his actions or words and questioning why he can't just do something, without understanding that it's not that easy. I personally relate to a lot of his insecurities and I know it's not that easy. Raghav's trauma is so much bigger. It's the default mode for people like him, who are used to being pushed and shoved aside and hurt by the world, and who are used to fighting their own battles with all those raw wounds that no one tends to. He still can't let go of his armor because it's become his second skin, and he's still not come to terms with the fact that there are people in his life now (especially his "zindagi", his Pallavi) who would shield him against all the pain and the hurt he's been fighting all alone. I mentioned this earlier too: it's like his self-fulfilling prophecy, like he's stuck in his own hell loop where the moment he thinks he's messed it up, he gives up on even the idea of hoping for forgiveness and finding a way to fix things, because he's doomed now anyway. But yes @red, this needs to happen because no matter how slow it is, there must be some progress in him as an individual if he wants to move forward. He thinks he doesn't deserve Pallavi's love, that he can't really love her the way she deserves to be loved, and that's partly because he is not able to love himself, because he's always seeing himself as a lesser human being who lucked out and ended up with Pallavi. He was ready to even be chastised by Amma in the earlier episodes, if that meant he got to talk to her. We might see something similar here IF the writers are meherbaan.

Today especially we got to see how low he thinks of himself. And how he is constantly comparing himself to Pallavi. This baggage of insecurities and this inferiority in front of Pallavi are making him do everything, right or wrong to match up to Pallavi, to prevent her from leaving, to make himself worthy, more like to make Pallavi feel that he is worthy, because he believes that the next moment, all will be taken away.
I remember when he gets the news of Keerthi’s pregnancy and he says, I’ve never received any happiness in my life without difficulty and that’s what he expects in every situation. The Hyd scene after coming to know of Keerthi’s truth, at the bar & in front of Farhad, why all good things in life bypass him. Why does he have to struggle for everything?

So now he’s accepted that. He can’t believe that Pallavi might easily understand him, so he kept hiding and creating a bigger mess that’s going to blow up in his real bad.

The post revelation scenario that you have mentioned is so striking. The actual effect of her leaving, he has not comprehended yet. Initially he thought she’ll leave, so he hid the truth, wanted to die rather than face her. Then he felt it was unfair to her, so he mustered up the courage to confess and that didn’t work out. When you don’t want to fo something and you find obstacles, you’ll tell your mind that it’s best not done and he finally decided to not tell but rather make everything better for her. He didn’t account for the guilt that’s eating him away, which in turn is affecting Pallavi through his actions. He’s still in the guilt with some confidence that she’ll never know the truth and he’s learning how to live with it. So he’s actually removed her leaving from his mind. But it’s going to happen! It’s going to destroy everything! As you said, it’s going to unleash the self destructive beast, now that his anchor is lost.

I have no doubt about his trying. I have no doubt that he’ll do everything till the point he feels that Pallavi deserves better. And even then, I don’t see Raghav not trying for Pallavi, not trying to make things right.

He might fall but he’ll rise again. The love is there, but now they have to come together shedding that baggage behind.

As a reserved person myself, who struggles to let things out, I relate to Raghav. We don't know how to do it, or more so the question is can we do it. Can I bare my heart with this person and expect emapthy and compassion? Will the said person understand or at least try to understand my issues without making fun of them? These questions force him to keep things to himself. Plus Pallavi's trust (in her words, in my opinion, its expectation) that Esha doesn't affect Raghav, when in reality, it does, makes it harder for him to confide in her that Esha does affect him and what happened in Warangal. Having said that, Esha affects Raghav not because he has romantic feelings for her, its because he has memories (both good and bad), knowledge and sympathy about her.

Now what happens after revelation, he needs to sort things out with himself, his past, before he sorts it out with Pallavi. As much as he wants, he can't follow "I will do whatever you say" path with Pallavi, like he did with Amma-Keerti because its cause similar conflicts like it has now. Along with vicious cycle of breaking promises, hurt and guilt.
