Loved your title and the episode too. Past few episodes though were looking nice to watch, didnât make too much of sense to me when the issues werenât getting addressed and them moving on as if nothing happened. Both Sai and Virat used to bring up their issue as taunt or joke but the issues were anyway getting brushed under the carpet and I am not sure how much it is going to help. There was too much of giggling and laughing that I feel they have wasted certain certain scenes which they could have shown in a better meaningful way.
I had actually stopped using the forum, but I couldnât stop myself from commenting after watching todayâs episode. We have watched this for an year and I had to comment about todayâs episode since I never expected to see such a thing in Ghum đ.
I was initially unhappy that Virat was talking a few things since it doesnât really suit him to talk about it as we all have seen him to be a silent spectator when both his mom and Sai get attacked but I am ignoring it for now.
Sonali also asked him about him locking up Sai and I was glad she asked even if the way she asked him sounded disgusting. I was glad that Virat replied that he made a mistake, had apologised and just because he did that, it doesnât give rights for people to ill treat Sai or behave poorly with her.
I was actually happy that they addressed a very important issue today. Firstly, Virat asked the right question to his mom as why she stays silent whenever people comment about her or attack her. It was surprising for me to see that Ashwini felt that Virat shouldnât have kept quiet, which means that she knows one shouldnât but sadly she does. I donât completely blame her since it is understandable as where she is coming from. Didnât Virat say that he is her son and he would also be quiet if she does, it holds true for Ashwini as well. I always used to think that Ashwini would have been raised in a house where her speaking up wouldnât have been encouraged or she would have seen someone in her house too who stays silent. Thatâs why I felt that toxicity is like a chain which will continue for generations if one doesnât break it and thatâs why I always had hoped that Virat would.
Anyway, there is a saying in my language, that more than the person who faults you, the person who actually takes that blow is at fault. This is where Sai came into picture and I have always felt that her influence on Virat would help him and his mom too, which never happened until today. Virat has spoken many things in the past too but never stood up for his mom like today. I am glad he did today and the makers gave him some good dialogues too. As you have said, Sai bringing up the 3rd person has made him think that his Dad Iistens to his Kaku more than his mom and I was very happy when he asked Kaku the question. As you have rightly said, Kaku had very cleverly put the ball in Ninadâs court.
Just like how Ashwini was silenced today, she would have always been silenced and whom did she have to fight for her? As Virat admitted himself, he has also always failed to stand up for his mom. We have seen Sai doing it on the pd lunch day too and she got attacked by the wolves. Ashwini isnât Sai who is ready to face any consequences. If Sai was in her position, she would have left the house. She does return to Virat and thatâs because of the good things that Virat has done for her and her gratitude along with the love which she hasnât realised has made her come back. I wish they show it one day that she also walks out of this house if Virat crosses a line once again.
Ashwini had a son and knowing about this family, had she gone against these people, these people wouldnât have taken much of time to fight for the custody of Virat and showing the door to her. It is sad that she wasnât allowed to study and she couldnât do anything for herself to stand up on her own legs. She also doesnât belong to a rich family like how Sonali always disgustingly keeps pointing out.
Anyway, it was good to see Virat pointing out how his Dad never respected his mom and he would have also followed his path. He did to some extent and some of Ashwiniâs values in him has made him act out of morals too.
Pakhi and her expressions are getting intolerable. The way she had absolutely no regards for the issue being discussed, the way she was least bothered and she was acting as if Sai was doing it all to get good names was horrible. She felt bad for Sonali when she got hurt but doesnât think that Virat and Sai were right in fighting for Ashwini since they had become a team unlike what she had thought. All her dreams were shattered as soon as she came to know that this whole thing was an act by Sairat.
Omi, Sonali and Karishma are useless and worthless people. Sai asked the right question to Pakhi. How would she have felt if the same happened to her and if Samrat behaves with her like that. Pakhi couldnât tolerate when Samrat said he is going to divorce her and that too for a valid reason and she created a big scene running and crying in her room as if Samrat was doing some atyachaar on her. How will she feel anything for Ashwini when she herself never respected her. I was expecting Virat to actually say that some young people, looking at Pakhi also donât respect Ashwini and they also donât raise their voice when Ashwini gets taunted. Not sure why the makers didnât think of adding it as it would have become even more powerful like addressing the issue of Pakhi too disrespecting Ashwini.
It was good to see Ninad asking Sai how she could do it when he supported her since the reply to that question was just too good. Just because he is being nice to her, can she ignore that he is not being nice to someone else. This is a quality that not many would possess. They would be happy as long as that person is being nice to them and would leave it, like Pakhi. But Sai isnât one like that, for her what is right matters and not whether he is being nice to her or not and whether her relationship with him would get jeopardised or not. Virat himself was surprised and turned around when Sai said that had her Aaba behaves this way with her Mom, she would have never loved her Dad too. Such a nice dialogue. I think it stumped Virat that a girl who loves her Aaba so much spoke this and it shows that righteousness is what is important for her and nothing else. I really hope that Virat learns a lot of things from these since he has not been this strong as a person.
As Neeraja has said, had they tried to address it in a room, Ninad would have walked out. Also, it was very important that the whole family is present since Virat had also raised an issue that none in the family has ever voiced out or stood up for Ashwini. He did point out that no one has cared whenever one insults Ashwini. I loved how he asked Kaku as why she never appreciated his mom even when she likes her food. It was such a slap on all these peopleâs faces. Loved one episode after a really long time.
I am glad that they have brought in such a nice change and these werenât in KD if I am right. One thing is that there is no need to insist on celebrating the anniversary. Whatever they had spoken today was necessary and Virat has to always stay like this and stand up for his mom in future too. Anniversary celebration doesnât make sense especially after whatever Ninad spoke at the end. Virat can ask for his Dad to try to mend his relationship with his mom and start respecting her. He probably might be doing it tomorrow and then say that let this anniversary celebration be a start to their new journey. I just hope they donât turn this like another Harini birthday celebration where Virat and Sai asked Kaku questions about how she could have done that to Devi and at the end just made her attend the party. All of these loses its value. Sai out of all should know that anniversary celebration wouldnât make any sense if Ninad doesnât respect Ashwini and doesnât even accept this marriage. I really hope they show something sensible tomorrow.
Sorry for such a lengthy reply.
