Preity Zinta and Ishaa Koppikar bonded big-time while shooting for Jahnu Barua's Har Pal. Exhibiting camaraderie rarely noted amongst Bollywood actresses, the duo became fast friends over their 30 days of shoot. Preity in her typical bubbly manner, would often be heard saying, "Ishaa, if you were a man I would have married you!" Interestingly enough, the two actresses will play bosom pals in the film. The story brings to mind a similar incidence of sisterly bonding between Preity and Rani during the making of Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega.
If sources are to be believed, Preity and Ishaa would share their dabbas every day. Preity would get her special rajma and dal palak for Ishaa. A unit member informs, "Preity and Ishaa are very fond of each other. They would always stick together on the sets."
The story goes that Ishaa, who is an early riser, found it difficult to keep her eyes open during late night shoots. On the other hand, Preity who is a self-proclaimed owl, helped her stay up by chatting with her all night long. Ishaa says, "Both of us are chatterboxes. So, we never got bored while waiting for the shot. Preity is a fabulous person and a lot of fun to be with. Even after the completion of the film, we are in touch with each other."
On the last day of the shoot, the actresses exchanged bear hugs. Preity gifted Ishaa her favourite Coco Chanel perfume before bidding goodbye. An eyewitness says, "Preity gifted Ishaa a bottle of Coco Chanel so that whenever she wears the perfume, it will remind her of Preity."
When quizzed about it, Ishaa says, "Yes, Preity had given me a gift but it is too personal to talk about."
