The anti-nepotism crowd oddly don't have an issue with "pretty privilege".

She's only getting films because she won a beauty pageant. Not a huge difference from relatives of showbiz peeps being introduced to the audience.

Pretty privilege in an industry where most of the women are serving the male gaze with little to no character depth? It's not a bias if it's a part of their job description.

I realize that good looks come with all kinds of social advantages but being pretty would be a privilege only if they were hired to trade for fortune 500 companies even though they majored in History.... purely on account of looking smoking hot. Which isn't that different from some overrated nepo kids imposing themselves as hot property and plastering themselves everywhere till the audience reluctantly admits after their 500th attempt, okay, yeah, you don't look that great but maybe you can act, after all. 😭
