PART 3 Movie night
Tejo looked at her and sighed. Ehh this monster was partly her creation. Maybe she should have slapped her couple of times...Better late than never.
Tejo slapped her. Within five seconds the mark was visible on Jasso's face.
"Chup. Yaad rakh ki tu kaun hai, aur main kaun hoon. Main Tejo Sandhu Virk hoon...Tu... tu ek mistress hai. Tujhe kya lagta hai, main ek rakhail se dar jaungi? Main ek aisi ladki se dar jaongi jiska khud ke jeeja ke saath affair hai..." Tejo laughed, a cold calculated laugh.
"Anyway, I'm going to leave now. We're having a movie night. Just because iss loser ne meri life ki aisi taisi kar di hai, doesn't mean ki main har waqt roungi. And papa I'm really sorry." For the last part, her voice became softer, and genuine.
Tejo walked out, rolling her eyes at the audacity of some people. Maybe she should have adopted this attitude with Jasso a lot earlier. Might have been some hope for her after all...
In the dining room, everyone was shocked. Mahi chuckled and took her leave before calling out to Amrik "Do you wanna come for movie or not?".
Fateh was shell shocked. He did not have any words. However he still tried to say something... "Papa ye zyaada ho raha hai. Aaj tejo ne jasso par haath utha diya...aap aisa kaise hone doge?"
Khushbeer took a step in his direction and wondered... if he was his son. "Fateh Singh Virk...maana ki tu bewkoof hai par kabhi dimag use kar liya kar. Wo Tejo singh virk hai. Iss ghar ki bahu. Hum sab use byahkar yahan laye the. Uska haq hai har cheez par. Aaj Tejo ne thappad apni behan ko nahin, ek rakhail ko mara hai, agar ye ladki itni besharam ho sakti hai ki apne jeeja ke saath uske ghar mein, uski family mein rehne aa jaye, toh uski keemt chukani padegi. Agar tujhe lagta hai ki ek rakhail ko ek ghar ki bahu wali izzat milegi, toh ye galatfehmi chod do." Khushbeer said this and walked out.
With this, Jasso burst into cries and Fateh sighed. Everything hit him like a wall of bricks. However he pushed it aside and went on to look for jasso so he could calm her down.
*In Tejo's Bedroom*
Amrik entered as Tejo was just putting everything in place. He was surprised to see what actually movie night meant.
There was a projector, and they were watching the movie on terrace. Tejo had put some mattresses, lots of cushions, and plenty of snacks... which mahi was already stealing.
"Hey ye sab hum sabke liye hai, tumhare akele ke liye nahin" Amrik teased her.
Mahi blew a raspberry at him, and went on to removing the sweetcorns from pizzas, collecting them on a plate.
"Okay bhabhi but kaun si dekhne wale hain, ye toh batao..."Amrik asked
"Well bahut time ho gaya mujhe dekhe bina... and i really want to watch it again...So Kal Ho Na Ho." Tejo smiled.
"Oh wow...that's great . Suna bahut hai, but aaj tak dekhi nahin." he replied.
Both Mahi and Tejo looked at him like he'd just sprouted antlers.
Amrik looked at Tejo as she sat down and just wondered how anyone could be this resilient, and perfect. He suddenly felt overwhelmed and started to say....Wo bhabhi I am sorry for...
Tejo cut him off, handed him a glass and said. "Hey when life gives you lemons, make some lemonade." Then the movie started and they're all engrossed.
By the end of the movie Tejo was basking in that peaceful ambience, smiling slightly at all the bittersweet roller coaster movie was, Mahi was already asleep... And Amrik was sobbing.
Tejo remembered the first time she had seen KHNH, so she sympathised with him. She consoled him, hugged her, cried on her shoulder, and fell asleep eventually. Tejo rolled her eyes...downside of being a mature adult... You are compulsive about fixing things. She cleaned up everything, then put blankets and pillows for Amrik and Mahi, and left so she could finally sleep.
Awesome loved it ❤️❤️😍😍😍 wish the tv show Tejo was this savage ,but why was amrik crying watching the movie kal ho na ho .
This that movie like sad or what ?
I havent watched it so that's why I thought I'd ask.?
