And that is ok. She wants to and onscreen also is willing to spend her life with those memories. (I have come across a few people in real life who lost someone they loved due to different reasons, and they were content spending their entire life with those memories).

So, for tejo, it will always be fateh.

Fateh: He deeply cares for tejo. He wants to help her, but is confised how to do so. He is a simple, but somewhat complicated person. A lot less mature, in some cases, absolutely immature to deal with the problems in his life. Hence, why he is being manipulated so easily. HE has had things handed to him, whether it be a succesful boxing career (he practiced for it, but his family supported him), he got jasmine with relative ease due to tejo's support, he stood and won against his family to go to canada, he got a job in canada in the first go. So, he is used to getting his way.

With jasmine, it was an obsession. And later ego. He is thoroughly confused, which was obvious with him not saying anything about jasfa marriage. But, even in his confusion, his wrong decision, all he cares about is tejo. HE is not happy that he will get married to his so called love, but wants to help tejo. He might be going wrong about it, but his intentions are to help tejo. His BFF. Not his wife, cause he knows he doesnt deserve her, which he clearly said in the divorce proceedings.

Even the flashbacks were of Fatejo as friends, not a couple.

Now this becomes important, for the future. If fatejo are to be together, they have to break apart, and restart. Now you cannot erase the past, but you can blur it.

Sometimes before any relation can start, he needs a setback, a shock. Fateh needs this to realise howmuch tejo means to him.

Since, fateh is the one who cheated, i would be ok if he realises hsi mistake late, and feels guilty, BUT, tejo is involved. For her sake, I would want fateh to realise that caring so deeply for someone and wnting them to be happy and safe, wanting them near you is the first step to limitless love.

Whether fateh deserves tejo or not, is debatable, but the one question that is not required is whether tejo deserves fateh. Because, all things done, tejo still loves fateh and in her heart would want him, but completely. Heart, mind and soul.

Fateh with jasmine: absolutely confused. doesnt care about what mistake/ steps he takes as long as tejo can be helped. He wants to help tejo and is willing to do anything. Jasmine, an arrogant egoistical brat does not realise that even if she gets married to fateh, he will never be hers. Cause he is doing everything for tejo, not jasmine. She doesnt realise that love is not stamping your name on someone, but being someone's with mind, body and soul.

So, in the end, tejo loves fateh and she might move on in life, but i doubt she can move on with another man. Even if she does, while she would be faithful and loving, she might not love that person as much as she loves fateh.

Fateh is confused, and needs to understand the meaning of love, before he can love tejo, or anyone else.

Agree with whatever you said about Tejo, even though she's a strong person but even she's a human with heart. She loves Fateh, and it's clear that she would love the care and warmth of that man but she knows she doesn't hold any haq on him to even expect his care. She asked him to not come in the room, but maybe somewhere she still wanted Fateh to force her to eat, or feed her himself? I mean I know makers never puts so much thoughts in a scene but it could have definitely lifted the whole emotional aspect.

Why couldn't he just force her to eat that? Waise to bada haq jamata firta tha, ab bol na main bolrahi hoon to khana padega tumhe. Such a thanda response from Fateh I didn't expect at all.

Your marriage has been declared illegal, the one he has shown extreme protectiveness for is in danger and he's sitting with his mistress and talking nonsense.

Unfortunately or fortunately you too observed same thing about Fateh as me. His flashbacks are always of friendship never romantic or intimate moments that he shared with Tejo while Tejo's flashbacks are opposite. She remembers all wife moments with him. Be it kitchen romance or that intimate night. So yes Tejo is horribly in love with Fateh. She is acting indifferent coz she has no choice. Being clingy and weak is not her character but this mighty girl is defeated by her own heart . She is pitiful.Songs that rings me for Tejo is Hai re hai re hai re, hum to dil se hare.....

Sadly Fateh has friend zoned Tejo and denies any such emotions that contradicts it. He crossed physical limits with her by repeatedly calling her my wife.Those tenders moments he gave her were during his frantic attempt to move on. The process in which he failed miserably but still hid it. Had he been truthful to Tejo about his failure he still would have had her as friend . Alas ! He lost his husband rights as well as friendship the day he started officialy cheating on her .Since then his character is touching new lows .

Anyways i feel Fateh will find his ultimate love in his friendship and wife. Fateh craves for aforesaid . Even in that party when EMA was revealed, Fateh was calling J his wife and friend not love ! Why ? Coz for him his ideal wife is Tejo who is friend , his supporter, his fan. That's the picture of wife for Fateh. That is what he is and will search in Jasmin if ever he marries her or plans to marry her. Alas! He is not getting it and his disappointment is quit visible too. He still has Tejo in acedamy and at home . Let Jazz take her away , his ultimate realisation will happen.

For the second point with due respect to your analysis the makers doesn't give so much thought behind anything, and specially to Fateh's character. They are not putting any kind of thoughts or effort in his characterisation. He's a selfish, spineless man that's the only thing that is clear.

Fateh is shown as someone who is unable to process a lot of emotions. hence, the confusion and indecisiveness on his part.

But, he helped tejo as well. Before & during her marriage to jass, then helped her overcome her grief, helped with catching jass, then defeneded her. After fatejo marriage, he stood up for tejo when she wanted to work, stopped the family from taunting her.

So, past few episodes, the makers have ruined the character, but he is not as selfish as he is being shown these days. A lot of it is the confusion in his mind. His mind tells him that he will be happy with jassu, nbut his heart yearns for tejo.

He cried when jassu left him, but was heart broken with the thought of anything happening to tejo when she was shot. And this was after he got back with jassu.

Your insights have really cleared a lot of confusion and I am totally conscious of how Fateh helped Tejo. But then, I don't have any hope from his character for two reasons:

1. I feel that this guilt and sympathy for Tejo will never leave him (Both of these emotions can't be a basis for building a relationship).

2. Even if he wants his BFF back, doesn't he realise, he is hurting her more by doing this? Moreover, why complicate things more when things are already messed up?

1. once you get forgiveness, the shame of the mistake remains, ehich doesnt let you commit that mistake again, but you get rid of the guilt. And fateh doesnt feel sympathy for tejo. there is a fine line between deep care and sympathy. all his dialogues were about how tejo is not at fault and there is no pity from fateh towards tejo. sympathy is when you pity someone. So, guilt and sympathy will not be the basis of this relation, provided makers use a little sense (low hopes, but still), it will be the friendship that these 2 have. because their friendship was pure, there was no boundation, or restriction, or condition to it.

2. Fateh realises that tejo is hurt. he wants to help her, but does not know how. I previosuly mentioned in a post how, he considers tejo in 2 relations: as his BFF and his wife. HE knows he has hurt the wife a lot, but as a BFF, he only hid about his affiar with jassu. So, in a weird way, he betrayed his wife, not his BFF, atleast not to such a great extent. also, fateh was unable to acceot tejo completely as his wife, cause jassu came in between.

things are messed up, but for fateh, tejo is the one who always helps him clear the mess. So, fateh wanting tejo back as his BFF is his way of clearing the mess. Now this is selfish, but you can also see how dependent he is on tejo, even though he doesnt realise it.

there is no dount he wants his BFF, but by showing the flashbacks of fatejo as husband wife, they are also conveying the confusion, and how fateh doesnt really know what he wants. atleast thats what i feel. I doubt the makers put in so much thought.

Actually what I feel is that he does realise he is dependent on Tejo and that's why he was requesting her to help him in academy. But as Tejo said, "Main sab samajh rahin hoon Fateh. Matlab ki baat bhi aur baat ka matlab bhi."

Precisely this tendency of Fateh to "use" Tejo whenever he wants is problematic for me. Nevertheless, I don't think makers ponder over the nature of their characters as much as we do for them. The only consistent character on screen for was Tejo and I was rooting for her.

However, I do wish to mention that even if Jass is the villain these days, he has an appealing screen presence. He is scary and yet not irritating like Jasmine. Lokesh is doing a really good job👍🏼
