Yes they have. Any entertainment industry is kind of progressive face of the society. Freedom of expression is integral to authors, poets, painters, actors, directors etc and conservative government always tries to keep them under control using their power. It is sad that Bollywood wich is thriving industry in the country has fallen prey to this.

Interesting to see how South Korea's film/music/entertainment industries have been thriving with the support of their government. I thought Bollywood was the same before. SRK is an icon on the international stage. Unlike aishwariya and priyanka Chopra he achieved his status without stepping foot into any other industry outside of India. Sad to see how he is being treated.
