BTW i dont know how many of you all will agree....but somewhere i feel it is good he didn't mention that he had imagined pallavi that day....

I feel that given the gravity of the situation, that is such a flimsy reason from the point of view of the listener....almost every guilty guy will try to give some clarification like this and it many a times irritates the listener.....thats just my view point though!

I agree with you here. It might lessen the blame on him but if I had to hear it, I would just think of it as an excuse.
I would be more pissed off.
Though I’m glad that we get to see his POV in other scenes where he is clear that he imagined Pallavi and he clarified that to Esha as well.

Yes while I was initially pissed he left that out but it makes sense he took full accountability for his mistakes. I'm glad he didn't mince words or hide things. That's the Raghav we all including Pallavi loves
