Dharma and Greg. It is a hollywood show, much earlier than sarabhai, and I'm sure that indian makers have seen that show. Concept is same. A lot actually, but they changed according to indian context.

Ooh sounds interesting.. Sarabhai was a decent adaptation.

Lol an indian show tried to copy The office. Everything copied. Every dialogue, every act.

Adaptations can work, copies are mehhh

I just finished the first season of Sarabhai

Gave up on the second one. But man the first one was so much better. The house was classy. Maya was classy and her clothing. Rosesh was stupid but also had a sweet side. Madhusudhan fufa's hain was always funny and so was I'll explain. Even the reactions of characters were worth noting. Like Indravardhan consoling Monisha during Maya rants or Sahil's mix of amusement, shock and disapproval. Maya's was always shock and disapproval. Maya and Indravardhan's disses were so intelligent
