Enough was enough!
Just half an hour back she was seething with fury, her body shaking with rage. But she had known this with great familiarity that anything worthwhile is seldom achieved in anger.
So she gulped down two huge glasses of water and clenched her fists shut, took deep breaths and counted backwards till she could feel her overwhelming emotions simmering down. What is better is to store and channelize that anger into plans that would actually lead her to her true destination.
Yes, one cheek kiss was enough to make her realize with whom her heart had belonged all this while. She had to give it to her dobi brain to take it this long. But now that she knew what she wanted, she would make sure that it was hers, by hook or by crook.
She entered their room, taking a good look at her reflection in the mirror. Then she quickly undid the braid she had so painstakingly tied for the sake of her gorgeous, long hair. Removing the endless number of pins sheād put at various places she gave a sigh of relief as she ran her fingers through her hair. Her head felt light at the moment, and soon her heart would feel the same.
She was brought out of her chain of thoughts, when she heard a familiar voice calling out to her. ā Ae chipkali ! Mai tujhse baat Kar Raha hu. Kaha khoyi hai tu ha ? ā
Gum hai kisi ke pyaar me ā her heart mocked her. Soon her lips turned into a smirk as she intentionally brushed past him, dismissing him and his question. She surely had plans to scratch his cheek and spray gangajal on his face, but she would save that for later.
