Chapter - 8 - Charity Case

Riddhima was holding her pillow tightly and sobbing away all the pain.

Riddhima : You always leave me alone, Why you don't want me with you ?
I am, I the only one who believes that you are a family ?
Maybe you never thought, I was your family.
We are all orphans at the end of the day trying cope with own individual lives.
I was the only one to cling on to you , because I felt safe, happy and family around you.
Everytime you tried to leave me, I tried to hold your tighter.
You always left me.

Riddhima's phone starts ringing . from the corner of her eye, she looks at the display and caller Id.

Leaving the pillow from her hold, she picks up the phone.

As she stares at the caller Id on the display .

Tears Uncontrollably start to fall from her eyes.

Riddhima : ( Breathing heavily, Stuttering ) You were right, Maybe I am just a little girl, Miserable, Vulenerable clinging to him and I am not anybody to him.

I am just someone who he pited know and tried to charity on me, I should be thankful to him and Move on in life.

That's it, Nothing else is there to do.
Maybe like you said, I should just try to complete all the orders he asks me to complete.

And I should just leave for good now.

Riddhima throwing her suit case on the bed, Starts packing her bags.

Vansh sitting on the same chair in the same position with a straight face but struggling in his heart, As he doesn't want Riddhima to go back Crying and feeling left out by him.

Vansh rubbing his forehead intensely thinks about Riddhima.

Angre observing Vansh feels little restless.

He moves to vansh hesitantly.

Angre : Boss, What ever you told was for her best.

Vansh : ( Turning his head nods) Yes, It's for her best and safety.

Angre : Yes, Boss.
We will send her away soon.

Vansh : No, I think we need to spend some time with her.
From the time she has come, she was just busy playing around.

Angre : Okay.

Vansh : (Enthusiastically standing up ) Angre , Make sure the whole cruise is decorated to Riddhima's Taste and also make sure of a fun party atmosphere.
She has to enjoy all the day.

Vansh with his crooked smile leaves from there.

After some time he instructs the workers to arrange everything properly and colourfully.

He hears footsteps approaching him with a some other sound, he turns back to witness Riddhima with her suitcase and bag.

Vansh : (bewildered, moves Closer to Riddhima, caressing her face) Sweetheart , What is all this.

Riddhima eyeing all the decorations ,According to her liking , Looks at Vansh with tears filled eyes.

Vansh : I thought, we would spend some nice time and You can enjoy, party, have some fun.
I know you like all this .

Riddhima : ( With tear filled eyes) Is this party for my good bye forever ?

Vansh : ( Daze) what ?

Riddhima : I don't think so, I would be able to attend this.
I have a flight in an hour.
I am leaving .

Vansh : ( Sternly) that's okay, Cancel it.
I will drop you tomorrow.

Riddhima : No, need of that.
I will leave now.

Vansh sternly with a straight face, blowing his nose furiously.

Vansh : No, I said you not leaving now.

Vansh : ( In mind) I don't want you to leave like this .
I want you to feel that, I am always there for you.
I want you to leave happily.

Angre : Riddhima , Vansh bhai arranged this for you .

Riddhima : I said, I have a flight and Patients in the hospital waiting for me .
I am leaving and Thank you for everything , all the education you provided.
Thank you so much I will always keep this in my mind, Sir .

Vansh looks at her in daze and bewilderment.

Riddhima walks away without turning back .

Vansh : ( Furiously, hold her hand) What the hell are you even speaking ?

Riddhima : I just want to leave, You know London would be best for me.

Riddhima jerking her hand, starts running with her suitcase as the cruise reaches the port.

Vansh just stands there not knowing what to do.

Vansh's phone starts ringing.

He receives the call.

Vansh placing the phone near his widens his eyes as he heard something in the phone call.

Vansh : (Shocked) What ?

Person : Yes, sir someone got to know about Someone related to you staying in London.
They attacked the place, There is a huge threat for life of the person.
I suggest you to evacuate your family from there soon .

Vansh Informing Anger about the situation .

Vansh : I need to stop Riddhima from leaving.
Her life is under threat .

What will Vansh do now ?

Will he be able to convince Riddhima ? Will Riddhima Come back to him ?

Should Riddhima put any conditions to come back ? 😂

Chapter - 9 - Can I change my fate ?

Vansh hurriedly takes his steps towards the port and informs everyone to pack everything up and leave from the cruise to home .

Vansh takes the car to airport and Angre follows him .

Vansh :( In mind ) I always wanted to protect you and Do what was best for you . To keep you safe and for your best life , I have sent you to London for education and settlement .

I made that place safest for you but now that is not anymore safe for .

My enemies know you now , They will try to use you and they might harm you .

I cannot let that happen .

Now , Your safest place is beside me .

I will dodge all the targets made on you , I will keep you safe .

It's all my mistake that you are unsafe , If I wouldn't have been in your life . You would spent a peaceful time . I am sorry for the mess in your life Riddhima .

Vansh stressfully rubbing his head drives speedily .

Riddhima in the airport looking at all the surroundings , The images start turning blurry as her eyes well up with tears . Still the airport images are clear and fresh in her mind as the same incidents come across her mind like a Deja vu .

Riddhima remembers waiting for vansh and Crying as he doesn't come to her.

Riddhima settling in same place holding the chair handle starts crying remembering the similar incident Ten years ago .

Riddhima : You always throw me at the same situation , I keep waiting for you and you never turn up to me .

I know this is the end , This time also you wouldn't come to me but I still keep waiting for you .

Riddhima with tears rolling down her eyes , She tries to rub her throat to gulp down all her sorrow .

Riddhima vigorously rubbing her eyes with her hand , Suddenly from her corner of the eye she notices something surprising with a shock and surprise she turns her head and Unknowingly she stands up on her feet Widening her eyes .

Riddhima stares at Vansh Standing In front of her , She looks at him without blinking her eyes . Her tear stained face and eyes meet his eyes .

Riddhima feels like cool breezy wind blowing on her face , She feels like her body is swinging and flying in the Sky .

Vansh caressing her face holds her hand .

Vansh :( relieved ) Let's go home .

Vansh starts walking with her holding her hand , Riddhima Unknowingly with a smile pasted on her face starts taking the steps behind him and starts walking with him .

Suddenly she stops herself in the next step .

Riddhima : ( Frowning ) After two days he will again leave me in the same airport and I will go to London and live my life like a loner .

My fate will not change .

I don't want to eat Chocolate Ice cream for few days and start eating bitter gourd the next day .

I will miss my chocolate ice cream .

I am fine with eating bitter gourd from now , I don't to taste Chocolate ice cream and miss that and It will stop me wanting more of chocolate ice cream .

Riddhima jerking his hand moves away from him and sits on her Seat .

Vansh gritting his teeth stares at Riddhima furiously .

Vansh :( Gritting his teeth ) Let's go home , I don't want any of your stubborn action now .

You will regret , If you don't listen to me . When I am telling you nicely , Come with me .

Do not push my limits .

Vansh with fear and anger building up starts threating Riddhima .

Vansh tries to talk to her but Riddhima pouting her lips turns away her face .

Riddhima : Like always , Shouting at me .

Angre riling up as Riddhima ignores Vansh .

Angre : How dare you do that ?

Angre looking at Vansh.

Angre : Boss , we will leave her here .

We are not giving her any of these Chocolates .

Angre holding basket of Chocolates was ready to walk away angrily to make Riddhima guilty and apologized .

Riddhima staring at the basket of Chocolates , Though she is tempting to eat them right away .

She resist and stares at both of them angrily .

Riddhima :( Shouts ) I am not a Kid .

Riddhima :( In mind) They keep treating me like a kid , Vansh still thinks I am kid .

But No , I am not a kid anymore .

But those are my favorite chocolates .

Vansh tries to calm himself down and Inhales .

He slowly moves towards her and sits beside her , Caressing her tear stained face .

Vansh tries to tackle the situation patiently .

Vansh : I am sorry , Now lets go home .

Riddhima :( frowning her face ) I said , I am not a kid .

I don't want a pity farewell party , I am fine this way .

I know and Understand like you said London far away from you is the best for me .

Vansh :( Furiously shouts ) What pity farewell party you are talking about ?

Why do speak like a idiot , sometimes .You Just assume things .

Riddhima : Really ?

Vansh knowing that it was fact , As he prepared that party for spending time with her before sending her away to London , Vansh tries to divert the argument .

Vansh : Leave all that in past and listen , You are going to stay with me from now on .

Riddhima :( widening her eyes ) What ?

Vansh : Yes , I have decided .

You will be staying by my side from this minute .

Vansh moving forwards takes Riddhima into his embrace and hugs her tightly .

Vansh : I will always make sure you are safe and happy , My little friend .

Vansh hugs her tightly and Riddhima starts crying unknowingly .

Chapter - 10 - Welcome Home

Riddhima was entering the House with Vansh and Angre by her side with a excited and thrilled eyes she was looking at the whole mansion .

Riddhima enthusiastically moved inside the house .

Riddhima's Remembers the same moments with Vansh and Angre .

Flashback :

Nine year old Riddhima was standing with her friends in the school ground with Bags hanging behind there backs .

Friend : Riddhima let's go , We all need to leave to home .

Friend 2 : Yes , Riddhima .

Riddhima : No , I don't want to go alone on these roads .

Friend 3 (Orphanage friend): But Riddhima , I think we both are going to the same place ( Orphanage ) , How can you be alone with me ?

Riddhima : Pooja . Vansh also leaves school at this time , It's summer time nah .

Pooja : Oh , You are waiting for Vansh bhaiya ?

Riddhima searching vansh with her eyes , replies to her friend lazily .

Riddhima : Yeah .

Pooja :(excitedly ) Okay , We can go with him to Orphanage and He might buy us Ice cream like last time .

Riddhima after waiting for Vansh , She finds him Coming out of his school .

Riddhima runs behind him and Shouts his name to stop him , Vansh looks behind and Notices Riddhima .

Riddhima excitedly moves to him with a smile .

Riddhima : Let's Go home .

Suddenly her Gaze falls on Angre , Riddhima frowning her face .

Riddhima : Why Don't you have Extra classes ?

Angre : ( Huffs ) Vansh bhai , Let me be in the school only . I don't want to argue with this psycho monster .

Riddhima : (Gritting her teeth ) Psycho monster ? You are the Psycho monster Angre .

Riddhima and Angre start bickering and Vansh after watching them fight for a thousand times clearly knows that if he doesn't stop they wouldn't end it .

Vansh Pulls both Riddhima and Angre apart by holding there bags .

Vansh : (Straight face )Let's go .

Riddhima glares at Angre and starts walking with vansh , While pooja walks beside her calmly .

Flashback ends ...

Riddhima with teary eyes remembers walking with pooja to Orphanhage alone and sad after Vansh and Angre left Orphanage .

She looks at Vansh and Angre beside her and she finally reached with them , Her heart fills with happiness and warm feeling .

Riddhima with a excited smile turned to Vansh to speak to him and She hears hurried foot steps of a man and Vansh , Angre immediately leave with him leaving Riddhima with the staff .

The staff take Riddhima to her room and help her unpack her stuff , Riddhima with frowned face starts unpacking her stuff .

Riddhima : What is so important ? I came first time after many years , He should have stayed with me .

Vansh in other room , Banging the table .

Vansh : ( Furiously )How did they get to know about Riddhima and her whereabouts ?

How did she get into a unsafe zone ?

I want to know about the attack at London house and what are they going to do , Everything ?

Riddhima frowning and thinking about Vansh .

Riddhima : So , Disappointing .

Her phone vibrates and she notices messages on her phone .

Person (In the message ): Riddhima are you really quitting your mission and coming back to London ?

Riddhima stares at message with a frown and starts thinking in dilemma about Replying back or not .
