We have been through this multiple times. 18 year olds can routinely become 15 to meet age criteria and both evidences are in bold under name during archived show performances.
Net net, we have no hesitation to think that Sachin Valmiki, at indeterminate 30+, can be easily passed off as a musical maestro at 25! I personally think he looked the same when he was 25. That kind of expression can never be washed off with age!🤣

This was discussed at length earlier too. I think somebody here or somewhere on IG had calculated that considering he started attending his middle + high school in 2006, he should have been 10 at that time because that is when they give admissions - apparently it is a well known school in Uttarakhand. I don't remember where I read this.

Anyway, not that all of this matters.

Can't really say.

By and large you are right that school admissions is flexible in the towns and villages, but what I had read was that this particular school is one of the well known schools of Uttarakhand and they are particular. But I really don't know more about the school or whether it really is that reputed.

But clearly there are inconsistencies galore. 1996 born, or 21 in 2015, or 23 in 2020, or 25 in 2021. I guess only his passport has the date that matters.

Anyway, I only wish him well in his life and career, regardless of his age.

Most newspaper articles after his Voice victory stated that he was 21 Years old.
That much is on record.

His body will have the date that matters. 😃

If he is older he will race harder to reach his goals when he can enjoy the fruits.

If he is younger he can afford a few slow years.

His basic voice training is complete at whatever age he is in. He can only sharpen his existing singing skills and improve on them.

That's about it as far as I am concerned with age of a singer/performer.

Idol can request for DNA test report from next season to confirm age of any contestant in case of any publicly available inconsistencies (as mini and sub celebraties are joining idol now a days) unless they want some special contestants to ride time machine for visiting the past 😆🤣
