To the Mods, Site owner, HIIC etc..

Just a Question

Why are some allowed to use personal attacks? some people have no ability to have a fact based discussion they either call the mods or use personal slurs so the threads are shut down . I find it offensive. Not whatever this twit said but the fact that people participate with logical comments and questions and you the forum keepers delete or erase their contribution but leave comments like the one I am referring to. Is it a power thing or is it fear? If it is fear of political retribution? why not place a dis claimer that you are a medium not and endorser. Also you must be a little more clear as to what and WHO is allowed to discuss some things or not or if personal direct slurs are allowed, Because you restrict some topics, but then your own IF team goes and posts about that same topic.

I participate, I offer my opinion, that some may or may not agree with BUT I have never told he-she-It who to go marry, nor accused it of being a disgusting sleaze bag, who is participating here anonymously, Why is that not addressed?

The forum for the most part has times when no one participates, so on days when news happens and people do enter with valid contributions, you shut them down in favor of inane gossip or allow these specimens to make idiotic comments directed at other members of the forum and not related to ant topic.

Shutting people out of logic discussions and allowing stupid personal attacks on a forum is the easiest and quickest way to have an empty one.

Having moderated the forum in a past life, two things are at play

- Squeaky Wheel gets the grease

- Easiest cheapest solution

Fan groups are like predatory pack animals. The rest of us are like gazelles innocently prancing through the savannah. We don't want to cause trouble. But when a fan group wants to take a gazelle down they will move as a pack, flank all sides, mass report, till the gazelle falls.

Going through a thread to impartially see where things went off the rails, warning and deleting people who made the personal attack, and letting the logical discussion actually continue takes time and effort. It takes a mature adult and is a full-time job. Most IF moderators are unpaid volunteers. They don't have the time to make thoughtful decisions. They are not paid to make those thoughtful decisions. So random erratic confusing decisions are all you get.

If you want proper moderation you, unfortunately, have to go to a closed community forum or a paid membership forum. Another option is niche discussion forums where like-minded people come together leading to minimal conflict.

I want to bring it to notice that 4-5 individuals had issues with aryan khan topic being discussed, the spammed the topic with false accusations, mocked members, and asked the mods to take down the topic

now that individuals who wanted to discuss this important topic related to BW, took our discussion to a rather dead section of forum. Fortunately a lot of people were into so that topic is thriving there… so I want to know that since it was moved cause soke people were having issues and moderators didn’t wanna moderate.. then why those members came to our topic to spread their agenda and there was a mod from this section who was busy editing our posts??

If they want to still post wnd mods want to still moderate then why are our topic closed on main forum ?

Even now those 5 members have made their own aryan khan topic (oh the irony) and are discussing aryan khan 🤷🏻‍♀️

What’s forbidden here and they are sick of.. is allowed at chat corner….

^ An SRK fan mocked a religion today. I have also witnessed at least one non-SRK fan being bullied.

So it's not that one side is paak saaf and another is at fault.

Personally I wish only the best for the kid and hope he's out of trouble soon. But we shouldn't forget that on this forum, behind these anonymous IDs are real people, who can be hurt too.

non srk fans started mocking religion on the first topic in first three pages.

They don’t want to discuss aryan then don’t come into this topics… why they come and spam and get it closed

You have to be clever.

I dont think us members talking about each other is allowed.

But commenting on actors is allowed I think. So I turn up the volume on that. An hey im just discussing bollywood 🤷
