Just another thought, please feel free to share your views.
Siddhart was given a choice: Apologize and leave the Academy. Isnt that reasonable?
Now, even after Monami and Sanjana repeatedly trying to explain to him, warning him, he persists knowing well of the results.
Is this behaviour not pressure tactics to make Sanjana accept his love?
Consider a child makes an unreasonable demand and the parent doesn't fulfill. Now, the child in his "zid" locks himself up without food and water. The parent, inspite of being in pain, has to teach the child to value things and do not budge. After a while, when the child realises "daal nahin galne wali" and bhookh lagi hain, the child bends to accept and make peace with the situation.
Here, the child also understands when to persist. Does Siddhart not understand this simple thing?
By not apologizing and going without food and water, what was he expecting?
1. That if something were to happen to him, he will be called a martyr in love?
2. Sanajana will start loving him and feel the "connection".
3. Or was he sure that on human grounds, he would definitely be taken out?
Is this the value he has for love or life? Isnt it a result of always getting what he wants by this way or that and being unable to take No for an answer?
Monami, on the contrary, blamed Sanjana amd everyone else. Why? She herself is a girl, can she not knock some sense into her best friend? (Unless she finds it acceptable).
Even in the end, he did not apologize to Sanjana. How does Sanjana get a redemption for everything that she is going through?

The only thing I will say is. It not about what Sid did wrong. We know, he knows and apologize and tried to make it right. It Karan's turn now.
What is your view of imprisonment/being put in jail? Is it a mere change of location?
NO it not change of location. Jail is never fun and Sid was trying to make Bala feel good because Bala ended in jail because of him. Bala talked about he could not sleep and that why he created all that atmosphere.
About the Sanju and Sid then I don't think Sid was being disrespectful. Him arranging a surprise was because he found out she was his tattoo girl. He believed that they had a connection. Simple. He thought she will feel the same as he did.
He doesn't know that she came because she thought it was her finance, he thought she came because she liked what he did.
After that he was in jail. Sanju came to meet him and then he tried to explain his feelings and apologize for the surprise. He kept his distance, through out the conversation and did not touch her. He only wanted to explain, his honest feelings for her because people misunderstands him.
He didn't force her to do anything. He was trying to understand and figuring out what the problem was, what her feelings is.
So I seriously don't get in which way some people think he is being wrong. Yes he is totally in love with Sanju and she may not feel the same way. But he hasn't cross any lines or been disrespectful toward her. Try to watch the episodes again.
Look at his point of view. Sanju come to meet him in jail. If she dislike what he did, she would not come.
She stayed with him when he was sick, if she dislike him, she wouldn't had stayed.
Most important he has no idea about her fiancé.
He is getting mix signals and trying to figurer out what her feelings is. Because her action and words doesn't add up.
When she did give the gift back....he back off right?
I am sorry my dear I disagree
A no is a NO!
Sanju clearly stated she's disinterested
Clearly
She didn't even be unclear
But Sid still persisted
And that is wrong
Her no cannot be seen as a yes
Her coming to meet him doesn't mean he doesn't hear her saying no
She rejected that's it!!
If a person said no then stop right there
You mightn't force them but you trying to woo them is equally wrong!
He doesn't have to figure out her feelings
She said a no...it ends there
Nothing else matters
OK people. This post was about Karan and not Sid.
Sid has realized his mistake, he apologize and left. So lets move on from there and watch how the story unfold.
So instead of taking responsibility for his own action Karan is blaming Monami for being suspended. So mature.....
Totally agree with you.. Sid was the one getting hurt but still he managed to save Karan.. But Karan still thinks what he did was right, that's not how you show respect to your uniform by using it for your personal grudges..
Loved the post..❤
Thank you. I believe Karan's flaw is likely that he has an ego or believe he is better than anyone else, because he has an uniform. Let's see. At the moment I feel like, that they are glorifying him a little too much. If he admit he cross the line then fine....but if not... then it going to bother me. If they just swipe "him torture a civilian" under the carpet.
Lets hope after saving sid from kidney mission he ask for his forgiveness from denying him food nd water and so does sid he has to understand his part of mistakes also till now he has not accepted his mistake he said sorry but he is unable to understand or realise what nd where he did wrong
