Chay always came across as a very sorted out and mature guy. He doesn't give vibes of a star or star kid, seems quite down to earth. And he did seem to love Sam a lot. Sam continued with her career post marriage so career reason seems unlikely after 4 years of marriage but many are specuating this as reason🤔

@bold- I read somewhere maybe Chay was having an affair and cheated thats why this happened. For other actors I would believe it without battling an eyelid but this seems very unlikely of Chay. He doesn't seem that sorta guy. But who knows? I too would be really disappointed if thats the reason but this I heard it was Chay who refused to reconsider the marriage so🤔

Yes... Just after the announcement, Sam's personal stylist posted a status ''Congrats S***. He is yours". Within 10 mins he deleted that status. It was quite direct. Initially I got shocked after seeing his status but then I thought it wouldn't be right to conclude anything based on one side story. There can be a huge misunderstanding. Actually as a viewer I really like Chay. And most importantly Samantha is also in the business, insecurities, over possessiveness all are part of this profession.

If the affair thing is true today or tomorrow it will eventually come out.

Oh yes! Someone posted it in this thread too. Got to know from there. I too was shocked with that post. Of all the possible reasons for their separation, this was something I least expected. But it was deleted suddenly. And it was posted after the confirmation as if he just spontaneously did it. But Somehow it doesn't go with Chaitanya's image. But again this sudden divorce does indicate something drastic happened. And it kind of explains Chay's refusal to reconsider the marriage. Maybe thats why even Akkineni family is not sounding angry/bitter about Sam if she is the wronged party.

But one just cannot say for sure about the reason. And mostly we will never know unless they themselves confirm. Though I do hope infidelity is not the reason. If its so its quite heart breaking.

BTW Was there any rumour about him or was he linked up with someone?

This is something I want to know. Really.... I am not from south so I have no idea if there is any such rumours. Those who read local Telugu news paper they may be able to tell this.

Exactly, this is something I can't even imagine. If this is true I won't be able to respect this guy anymore. I like him for his off-screen personality more than his flims. To be honest between Chay-Sam, I always liked Chay for being a low key person.

If it is true then I really wonder how could he destroy his perfect family like this. 😔

I too am curious about it. Though I am from south, but I am not from AP or Telangana so don't know much local news. Probably @PD might be able to answer it

Career reason is given in the divorce petition.but all are saying that its bcz Samantha is getting bollywood offers but Chay doesn't want her to do bollywood movies. Always career n affair can't be the reason.there can be other reasons too for divorce.

Yes, one day they looked so much in love and the next day we got to know that they are separating. Rumours were all over the internet. I have seen this kind of sudden break ups before but sudden divorce ! This is definitely first time..

I don't think Sam's career was an issue. Chay seemed very supportive husband. I have read his interviews where he openly supported Samantha's career and acknowledged the fact that she is more successful than him. And Sam in one of her interviews once said that she was even ready to take any career risk considering the fact that married women in south hardly get much opertunity.

Infidelity is the only option left. I have never heard any rumours that Sam is involved with anyone after marriage. And Chay..hmm... I will be really disappointed if I get to know that Chay has any affair as he seems very mature and genuine guy.

He seems very different from his cousin and father. I always felt Samantha was the one who was the boss in their relationship.

Frankly no, I never heard any rumor recently on him. In old days he was linked with anushka and then Sam.

Someone in this thread mentioned pooja hedge name.. never heard about her and chay though..
