And the media houses who are creating false news to get eyeballs for ad money, I hope Aryan does sue them. NCB should have really kept this investigation more private.

See, this is the problem with that.

If they'd kept this quiet and nabbed Aryan, they would've actually had a prayer of getting info from him, IF ANY. If you want cooperation, you always need to leave the other side something to lose.

Now, what does Aryan have to lose by refusing to divulge names, IF ANY? NCB has no proof that they mentioned in court they can use against him. And his rep is ruined anyway. Money, he has plenty. He will be risking retaliation from dealers, IF ANY. His best bet at this point would be a big F you to NCB. Unless of course NCB finds evidence.

If it not corruption, it is at least incompetence on the part of the NCB. Unless of course they simply wanted to preen before the public.

In a statement to Times Now, Merchant reacted to the claims of 5 grams of charas being recovered from his son. He said, "It is all baseless allegations, but it is under investigation. It is very premature to state anything at this point in time. The NCB has been very cooperative and very nice to the kids. I being a lawyer, have faith in the judiciary. The truth will prevail and they will come out scotfree. They are innocent."

Addressing reports of the illegal substances found, he said, "Whatever was found, was found inside the ship, not outside. They didn't even enter the ship. They were guests."

When asked how the boys ended up on the ship and the 'incriminating WhatsApp chats, Merchant said, "There is absolutely no WhatsApp chats related to drugs. They were not even prepared. It was just a last-minute discussion of going to the ship. They were invitees. They just decided out of the blue. He has breakfast with me and was supposed to have dinner with me."

He also stated that this was the first trip that Arbaaz and Aryan took together.

Thanks to the father saying NCB is cooperative and all they want is cooperation from the kids. That's it.

They are doing their job. Sometimes a piece of evicdence or lead breaks the entire chain.
