Nowadays even upper middle class Indians prefer speaking in English more than their mother tongue and that's their choice. Nothing wrong in Deepika and many other celebs not speaking their mother tongue fluently. At least she knows to speak hindi and her mother tongue. I highly doubt if the next generation of star kids even know to speak hindi. One of my friends told me she saw a video where Sanjay Kapoor's son told that he wants to be a bollywood actor and Arjun kapoor mocked him saying that you don't even know one word of hindi and you want to be a bollywood actor or something like that. 😆
The current generation of bollywood actors and actresses at least know to speak hindu even though their dialogue delivery is weird but the next generation of actors and actresses may need dubbing artists for the initial few years of their career. 😆
