The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has detained eight people which includes two women and the son of a megastar following a raid on passenger cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai where there was usage of drugs.

Reports suggest this raid was carried out after a tip-off that banned drugs were used on the ship, owned by Cordelia Cruises. The NCB team, led by zonal director Sameer Wankhede, came in on the Goa-bound ship and recovered drugs like MDMA, cocaine and ecstasy from some of the passengers, the agency said in a statement.

“On the basis of specific information, the officials of NCB Mumbai conducted a raid on Cordelia cruise which was bound from Mumbai to Goa on 02.10.2021. During the operation, all suspects as per the information were searched various banned narcotics like MDMA/ Ecstasy, Cocaine, MD (Mephedrone) and charas has been recovered,” it said.

“A total of eight persons including two females have been apprehended and their role is being investigated in relation to the said recovery,” the NCB added.

A case has been registered and investigation is underway.

A senior NCB official told India Today that the agency is in possession of evidence against those apprehended. The detainees are currently being questioned.

The NCB has summoned six of the organisers who had planned the cruise party. Kashiff Khan, managing director of FTV India, is also under scanner and NCB has reached out to him. The event was organised under the supervision of Kashiff Khan. According to sources, the event was organised by Fashion TV India along with Delhi-based company Namascray Experience.

2. Interesting the NCB was on board from Goa with drugs on board? YET they allowed the ship to dock in Mumbai and allowed innocent people to board or innocent people who were on the ship to be exposed to boarding dealers? How many passengers on ship total? how many underaged? That is not very responsible of them...

3. The NCB is in possession? Who took inventory? The chain of evidence is being handled by clowns? or is it secure?

I agree. I am not a supporter of drug use but if it has become a fad among these people they could have done it in their mansion and atleast stayed away from these parties which is evidently observed by the authorities.

Even if all this is a propaganda Aryan must have taken drugs tabhi to pakra gaya.. Raid planned hosakti hai usko drug dena thori.. SRk ki saari banai hui izzat in mitti.. tsk tsk... but yeh to hota hai Fardeen was arrested as well and then went on to become a known actor.. kuch nahi hota choot jayega and filmon mei bhi aayega raja beta Aryan..

Not just SRK, one of the South superstar had faced multiple tax raid in last 3 years but they couldn't trap him. And another superstar's house was raided immediately after the remark against CAA .

If they target not so famous people how will they divert the attention? And it is not only diverting attention, teaching them a lesson.

I am not saying that Aryan is innocent, considering his background, like many super rich kids and many of the celebrities he would have tried everything but focusing him is definitely a plan.

Well, I wonder how people come to their judgements concerning a guy they even don't know.

What I know is that Aryan got his University degree in the field that interests him. He also did participate in the writing and shooting of his dad's advertisements.

I've no idea about if he uses drugs...maybe, maybe not. And yes, he has friends that may be shady. (That reminds me of the C-Gang, also a bunch of friends not always doing the "right" things). However, this raid was prepared because the NCB knew that Aryan was there.

Aryan was invited for the sole purpose to trap SRK via his son...had Aryan been out of country or was not in the party...the raid would have never happened.....
