Neha Dixit is obviously toxic person full of negativity and hatred towards Sonakshi no to some extent Dev. If you look at the character then Neha is annoying but if you look at the real side so we have these type of people in real. We have people like Isshwari and people more irritating than Ishwari. Its a human psychology if one child feels neglected and finds other is getting more attention for small small reasons then they think its that child presence which is hindrance to their happiness. They feel neglected and start developing hatred towards that person.

It usually happens in big families. I don't know who all will resonate with me but that's the bitter truth.

Yes I agree to a point while that child is young. But eventually you grow up learn to deal with it. I am a middle child & I know exactly how a middle child feels. Somehow one has to get over it, grow up & move on. She needed a psychiatric help-counseling to help her deal with neglect which she suffered. Ishworry has damaged Dev by over doing so much for him, putting pressure of her obligations indirectly , at the same time neglecting Neha & having her raise other siblings. They all need therapy imho.

life throws many curve balls at you, you make the most of it 😊👍

I said this before and will repeat.. Neha's situation makes no sense to me..how can she alone get no education..atleast govt school main hi daal dete..I don't think parents do this..at some point when dev started earning, they should have taken interest in educating her..they obviously don't care..her hatred for sona comes from lot of jealousy..but Ishwari is the worst mom possibly even in the ITV.

I do agree that her character is realistic. In fact even people like Ishwari exist who are insecure mothers and ruin their DIL's life. But that doesn't mean I can justify their actions. People who hurt innocents like kids are too bad in my opinion.

I see where you are coming from and I thought the same way. In fact I sympathised with her the most in S1. The poor woman suffered so much because of Ishwari's incapability to be a good mother. Not only was she neglected as child, at a tender age she was forced to be a mother to her younger sisters.

Neha had said this once (to Ishwari) , and I think it is soooo true "aap ke bacche to chaar hai, par aap maa sirf ek ki ban payi"

The trauma was so palpable it was truly sad. But now they way she is projecting her toxicity by trying to manipulate Suhana is down right wrong and nasty. There is only now jealousy and evil intentions.

A part of the blame is also Dev and Ishwari, they dealt with her anger for a lot of s1 in the wrong way. They just pampered her thinking its a phase, but therapy or some sort of counselling would have been a better approach. It was deep rooted childhood trauma, not a spoilt sisters tantrums.

The reason Neha also hates Sona so much is because Sona is everything she wants. Sona is educated, speaks english well, loved by her family, married into a rich household, has a loving husband etc.

Now it just angst and jealousy, the trauma has taken - unfortunately a very bad turn.

I think Neha was kept at home because of two reasons, A- issueworry didn't have enough money, B- nikki and Rhea were very young. And the time when dev started earning, Neha was pretty old (not a child anymore) and in India it's still a taboo for not-so-young people to go for studies, ek age jab cross ho jati hai to man bhi nahi rehta ki padhayi complete kare. Neha's toxicity towards dev is due to issue worry but her toxicity towards sona is merely her jealousy
