This is just another instance of Adi being manipulated into doing something he doesn’t even realize. His heart is in the right place. See for me, what made this episode bearable was the fact that Adi’s doing all of this under the assumption that Imlie is taking the van home. Yes, he’s really dumb for having told her he’ll pick her up then not showing up, but he must’ve felt Imlie’s mad at him, so her taking the van instead of waiting for him is plausible. He’s vulnerable too, and it showed in that scene with Nishant. Of course, he brought this on himself toh kya hi kar sakte hai

Him taking Malini out for her cravings was a chore to him. It was so robotic and mechanical to him, there were zero emotions involved. Just look at his body language throughout, he wasn’t in the mood to indulge Malini at all. Everything was token courtesy to him. The most important point is that the whole time he was worried about Imlie and wanted to know if she reached home safely, even if it wasn’t with him.

Tomorrow is going to be another guilt & regret day for Adi when he realizes his mistake. Again, I’m not going to hold out hope that Adi will figure out Malini was the one who told him about the van & may have deliberately lied to him. Koi point nahi hai.

I know it was a chore to him but still felt like he could've avoided going out with her somehow. He used to do this a lot earlier 😆 Yeah, I know the baby is involved and guilt bhi badhgaya but still. chodo, ab what can he do if the makers want to create drama for no reason?
