Sure, but two cricket films back to back? Jersey comes out one week later on New Years Eve. '83 should be bigger but that's silly scheduling.

But Jersey, if it’s faithful to the orignial , isn’t about cricket but about a cricketer that too a player who couldn’t ever play the International Cricket. Not much of the actual game will be shown except a couple of overs here and there.

Well it can be terribly made. Kabir Khan doesn't have a 100% success ratio. But my point was Sooryavanshi too has a chance of being the highest grosser of 2021 like 83.

It's not sure shot confirmed that 83 would be the highest grosser of the year like Chotashakil was claiming.
