I don't think it really is, I think there's just pressure from SP to reach that 2 trp and take SSK2 audience. But that's a legacy show I think and it's too late to "take" their audience. 6:30pm is a dead times slot. SP just wants to be #1 over Colors all the time and they see the MHRW online presence = pressure on Siku to up his game.
I say as long as they can make it to the year mark - we'll be good. Quality over quantity 👍🏼
That makes sense. I hope that is really how it is.
It's been quite sometime now that SP is struggling to find late evening shows that fare well. They should be more than happy about how MHRW has clicked with the audience. Of course, no show has been able to beat the success of SNS but MHRW is still so consistent.
My Mom watches GHKKPM, and I see how the family drama in that show endlessly goes on and on and there seems no end to the trouble of main protagonists. Almost a year to the show and they haven't even confessed love but keep on having misunderstandings. It's so frustrating to watch and headache inducing but I can completely see why it does so well and tops trp charts.
With MHRW at least there is *some* progression and they are holding up well in terms of trps even after Mandhar's track ended (I honestly expected trps to drop after that track ended) I just hope makers come up with good new ideas/tracks to explore in the show and the channel shows enough patience to not shut it prematurely. I wouldn't even want them to change the slot at any given point of time.
