Minor (possibly unpopular) grumblings: Sandya and Akki

I am probably nitpicking, and there are definitely more annoying characters and issues, but here goes 😆

- I know the whole Sandy eavesdropping on ongoing conversations and gossiping is supposed to be for humor. There are also a lot of people like that in real life. But I feel so yucky when I see it. Such a terrible habit. 😕 I can't completely like Sandy because of that 😐

- Akki and Shivi are getting on my nerves. 😒 I understand that Akki wants his sister's happiness- but everytime he thinks Priya has a problem, he is going to take it out on Shivi And Shivi, instead of whacking his head, is demanding Ram to bond with Priya? This whole "make her smile" shenanigan left a bad taste for me.

Ram and Priya are not school kids who need hand-holding. They definitely have more brains and maturity than Akki and Shivi(Shikki? Akvi? Do they even have a ship name 😆 Will go with Shikki for now).

PriRa can figure out their own way- they really don't need Shikki to baby sit them. Shikki are behaving like idiots 😐

- I am kind of rooting for Nandini or Sashi to break up Shikki- from what I can see, it is a train wreck waiting to happen. 🤪Shikki are not at the mental and emotional maturity level to get married. 😵‍💫 I just don't want blowback on PriRa 😐

In first season it seemed genuinely alright all of natasha k tantrums and priya bro demands they seemed a bit okay

And if they are reacting in turn Unhi ko blame krre h 🙄🙄🙄

First of all.. Shikki 🤣 lmao this ship name has me rofling

You know what, as I said before in a post, I just don't connect with Shikki as a Jodi.. I can't feel their love, or even a tiny bit of connection between them. They are always shown to be bickering about something or the other.. Akki is always irritated by her or has complaints about her and Shivi is always this helpless immature girl desperate for him.. 🤷‍♀️ Not once have we seen them smiling together or just happy with each other.. like any normal couple in love.. ughh these two just don't look like an about-to-get married couple to me 🙄 I feel like their marriage is going to be full of troubles..

About Sandy, I also don't like that habit of hers but I can give it a pass coz there are so many much more annoying characters in the show who make my blood boil 😐😐

I feel Shivina genuinely loves Akki but Akki I am not sure I can say the same for him. It gets so easy for him to say he wont get married, he will cancel sangeet if Ram wont come etc. he cares for his Priya dii okay fine but why he aint thinking about Shivi at all!

I liked him when he was ready to take responsibility when Shivi got ‘pregnant’ , but he kinda takes her for granted.

Isnt Nandini suppose to be smart? She can see how Akki treats her daughter she can use that excuse to break their alliance! Stupid Nandini 😆(is fine to break up PriRa but not ShiKki 😆)

Seems like Jaap is a thing for Kapoor family, then Ram’s Vedu Jaap and now Shivi’s Akki Jaap 😆 She was however very selfish to say it doesnt matter if Ram isnt there in the sangeet he wont say anything, but when Akki said sangeet wont happen suddenly she is hell bent to get Ram back in the sangeet.

Yeah Shivina is quite in love with him and really really wants to spend her life with him.. but Akki doesn't seem to love her that much.. His Priya didi is his priority always and that's fine but he should also care about his would-be -wife too na.. you are right, he takes her for granted. 👎🏼

I think Nandu hasn't really noticed Akki that much . There has hardly been any interaction between Akki and Nandu, now that I think. She is about to give off her daughter to a man she didn't even know about a month back, and she doesn't even bother to speak to him or get to know him? Weird. These people are just hell bent on breaking up PriRa first but truly it would be so much easier to break off Shikki and then automatically PriRa will also not marry na.. so simple but these people are stupid really😆

I agree. I understand he cares for his sister priya but treating shivi like that is not done. Man needs to change his behaviour

True- Nandini is not half as much interested in Akki as she is in Priya 🤣 Which is ridiculous- Shivina will have to move into a possibly smaller hone with less luxuries, when she does not know the A of adjustment. 🤪 And to top it all, her in laws(well maybe not Akki's mom, we have to wait and see) are not the type to accept help from Ram. So how exactly is Shivi going to live with them? I am sure Akki will blow his lid if Ram continues to pay for Shivi- but he himself has no means to support Shivi.

How on earth is this going to work? In season 1, Karthik is in a well settled job and on a growth trajectory at job(atleast that is what they protray in the beginning). Natasha atleast had a fashion house set up by Ram- and she did work.

What does Shivi even do 🤷‍♀️ I am getting low grade anxiety for a fictional character's future married life 🤣🤣🤣

Akki is an awful partner. Shivina knows this but still wants to be with him. She says in an episode that even though she knows Akki doesn't love her as much as she does she still wants to be with him regardless of the fact that he is not even close to being as well of as the Kapoors. I feel like she doesn't understand how much money actually goes into making her life comfortable and is blind in her love/obsession for Akki. Akki on the other hand is always waiting to blame her or make decisions instead of discussing things with her and behaving like a partner. Their relationship is clearly unequal and I don't like it. Therefore I don't ship them. I would love to see Shivina grow. She doesn't seem as calculative as her mother or as mean as Shubham.. she's just a spoilt self centred idiot. She could evolve into a great character.

Coming to Sandy, another way this show believes in shoving everything into the audience's face. I mean she likes gossip .. okay, but most people with etiquettes won't approach a random stranger at a high profile function and spill other people's secrets with them, especially when they are your mother's age. The gossip habbit is also very bad.

IKR.. I too am clueless as to how Shivi will ever adjust in Akki's home?? 😕 Also Nandu and entire Kapoor fam being so bloody interested in Priya and not at all in Akki, who doesn't even have a stable job is so ridiculous. It should be the other way round actually.. they should have been more interested in knowing about the groom's family where they are sending their laadli , excessively pampered daughter, and not so much in Priya.
