I feel bad for all the progress he made as a character will be reduced and he has to start from start again.

Also am dreading for all the angst and tears on the way.

Sigh ITV - I guess I am not going to make this mistake again.

I don't really understand what you mean. Please can you explain what you mean by he was never this way? Are you talking about the smuggling or the drinking or what exactly?

disagree with the poster here. Pallavi is trying to make the situation worse for Raghav.

For eg. If Raghav forgets to switch off light at night Pallavi next day want to remove all the bulbs in the house. Never trying to understand his side of the story.

There are many things in my parents behavior which I dont like. If I go and tell my parents hello pappa mummy change from tmrw onwards change your behavior else I wont eat your food. Is that fair to them? Change has to happen from within not coz somebody is making you hold at gun point.

For Pallavi its always my way or the high way. good lord all the kaand she did when Mandaar landed...now when Raghav tells her to get out donno why so much noise. His questions were on point IMO. She deserves all this for her holier than thou attitude. Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

Raghav's character has been consistent throughout the show. The only thing I hate him for is his drinking habit. Its Pallavi who needs to mend her narcissist ways. Mein soch nahi sakti,,,,main tumhe badalkar rahungi I mean wat the heck let the guy breathe for once . give him some damn time. there I said it.

I get you different ppl have different reason for watching.here I was trying to make a point that at the end he has such a great following that ppl are over-looking facts over his looks or performance which shouldn't be in my opinion.

I know it's a difficult times for all RR fans but we should call out what we feel right- I hope if they read this...

Well SRK had the same adulation from fans for Darr and Baazigar, remember? Same thing here.

Those people will grow out of it when they mature. Don't worry too much about them.

The key point here is time... if she slows down and remains patient it will work. But she wants instant results so she's getting frustrated at the lack of progress. I hope Ayi or Amma can help her understand this.

I meant the same thing you point out in your above post.

I am pointing out that to maje the reformation or Sudharofy angle plausible they have taken his habits and work to extreme. And to make that redemption of Raghav 2.0 they are going to cost him almost the life of his love.

And about smuggler- he is shown as a smuggler of diamond and he evaded taxes but now the way he is being called out as a criminal.

Drinking - he used to get drunk occassionally but now everyday and night. Ofcourse to dissolve his rage and sorrow.

But in all this the way he had changed for pall, the progress he made for her is somewhere going down the lane.

He is going back to square one - even lower before he is to hit by redemption.

My point was they could have shown them both coming at some middle ground without resorting to this extreme.

His issues needed to be addressed, they are frightening actually.

Too much is too bad they say. Too much junoon, too much anger, too much of everything is self-destructive.

And it will be very unfair if they let him get away with this behaviour and Palls will forgive him.

I want to ask everyone here why many of us are expecting a fairy tale. It isn't one. The promo told us he was a storm and storms tend to be destructive. Even when they calm down, what is left afterwards is just a catastrophe. This shouldn't be the kind of story that has a happily ever after ending.

The logical conclusion to this story would be that:

- Raghav is so far gone and too damaged to do anything but self-destruct.

- No amount of longing or his family is strong enough to overpower his demons and help him see a different kind of life, the kind he might have had if Krishna Rao hadn't ruined his family.

- Raghav gets killed or goes to jail for his activities, either because he keeps doing illegal things or because he tries to get out of the vicious cycle but is dragged back in by old enemies.

- He never has fulfilling relationships and falls short because something in him is broken and no one is able to fix it, not even him. His entire family will suffer either as collateral damage or because they can't get through to him beyond a certain point as he has walls built up around him.

He didn't change 100% for Pallavi, and this why I think some viewers are shocked. She thought she'd changed him totally but he never did. He changed towards her and his family to a certain extent and conformed to her image of a "perfect" partner but now she's challenging the darker side of him that she'd never come face to face with before. She knows about his tragic past but I don't think she connects.

It's not easy to be the wife of such a man so if she feels she can't cope, I totally understand if she wants to walk out. But as Shivangi said in her post, Pallavi will choose him every time. She will fight for their love because beneath all this madness is the pure heart who made her heart sing.

Also, love isn't supposed to be logical. Sometimes, neither is commitment. Look at Sharda or Milind. Their spouses are obnoxious but they still adjust and live with them, even though as outsiders we feel we could never tolerate them. Every person's threshold of tolerance is different and Sharda and Milind made a conscious decision to remain married to their spouse. It's easy for us to say they should leave them (heck I've advocated many times for Sharda to divorce Sanki), but then again, we aren't in the shoes of Sharda or Milind and can't make decisions for them, no matter how much we hate their spouses and want them to leave. Same with Pallavi, only she can decide what she wants to put up with and when she says bas bohot ho gaya.

As for middle ground, that possibility went out the window the moment she decided to go with her rubbing salt in your wounds simple living. She took an extreme position, albeit with good intentions, so he went to the other. This was bound to happen.

Yaar let him burst out jitna chahey utna Bcz he is going to repent once he see Pallavi in that condition 😟

Bechara pee raha hai peeneydo he told to leave the house let him tell Bcz he can’t leave without her

and he will deffinetly repent for saying that words for her after she gets hurt 😞

And I liked the way he asked her how come I never kept any conditions in our relationship but ur on my head with all ur conditions👍👍👍 I liked the line

And at the end Pallavi ko bhi thoda akkal ana chahiye ki not everything is black and white but it’s grey

As he can change lil bit and mend some of his ways

Bcz if he giveup everything may be Pallavi will be happy but not we fans seeing RR working in mechanics shed😂😂😂

We all liked The RR and we want him to be like that

Right hope he realizes his words after she gets hurt 😞

Here I second you for everything.

Pls read my second post on this topic " Extreme Ideologies"

My intention here is to call out makers on taking this to extremes and making him a criminal and drunkard.

I know they will Sudharofy the OG character as it was meant to be coz this is Star Plus and even Gorintaku the ML had to change his ways.

But I don't like how they are taking this, making him an unreasonable, egoistic, ragebind who is going to regret a lot in future.

After this his every thought every action will be questionable. His very being will be shaken to the core.

Maybe Amma will leave him for good. He will be alone like he was earlier and that would be so unbearable for him.

So this all will guarantee the Raghav 2.0 we were so dreading. Which was totally unnecessary, things could have been handled mildly without so much of harsh talks, heartache and heart brake.

I just wanted to point this to the makers.

They were dormant for a while but have resurfaced and this is what the writers want to highlight - his core remains the same. It was forged in the dark so the darkness in him isn't going to go away. At best it will lighten to a gray and this is what Raghav was trying to say.

He is not ready to listen.. not just because of his securities but also because she's failing to communicate the right way. She's making things worse, not better, because she always thinks she's right. My way or highway approach is not going to help here. The pain inside him is spilling over. She's seeing it, seeing his reaction and still continuing with her methods. Fine, her wish but if she knows him so well as she claims then his reaction shouldn't be a surprise to her or to us at all.

As I've asked before (and was ridiculed for it), was Pallavi ready to be Raghav's wife and accept him? Even if he stops doing his illegal work (which doesn't seem to be the prime focus anymore), his character traits aren't going to change. Does she understand this and will she still be ok with that? I am saying this from a woman's perspective. We have to draw a line somewhere and no one can tell us where our threshold of tolerance is. Only we ourselves know that and have to decide to what extent we tolerate or overlook things in our partner and when we decide that enough is enough. For Pallavi, only she can make that call and seeing him in his worst condition is the eye-opener she needs to take him down from the pedestal of perfection she had placed him on and decide if she wants to spend the rest of her life with this very flawed mere mortal.

If after all this they try to suddenly whitewash him it would appear to be a joke because when a person like him displays such extreme behaviors, they need therapy and a long time to reform, no quick wins with moral science lectures or being sent to the corner for punishment.

Actually pallavi had seen him at his worst and then he asked for a chance himself and she gave him.. then she thought he sudhrofies and went and put him on a pedestal.. and now the rose tinted glasses have fallen and hence even he has fallen from the pedestal.. i think this is really the right time for pallavi to introspect.. she has seen him at his best and worst.. what is the kind of life she wants to have.. is it worth it for her to keep getting hurt n keep fixing things that she doesnt like in him or the wrong things in him?

am honestly so surprised that amma hasnt interfered or spoken to him seeing how things are bad between raghav n pallavi. not even the general advice that she gives him to have patience and look at things with maturity??? Yes she is on pallavi’s side but why not try and have a convo with him and provide him a different perspective ? May be he will listen to her.. he has listened to her advices attentively previously and mulled before concluding.. and she has always since marriage been afvicing him so what happened in this track?
