I mean Baa for chiding Anupama and...Anu for justifying how she’ll guard her honour whilst she’s away on a frikkin business trip with a ‘paraya mard’.. what is she? sixteen? that she has to take mummy-papa ki permission to go on a school or college ki residential trip where there’ll be mean boys that she has to promise to stay away from😳

Honestly! this aint no 90s ki bw film where they’ll go to spend the night at a hotel and the receptionist would say ke sorry ek hi room available hai possibly the honeymoon suite for extra flavour 😆 and they’ll be forced to sleep in the same room where the guy gets the couch by default and the girl tosses in bed thinking of the guy🤣 phew!!! already gussa thanda ho gaya mera by timagining this in Vanraj ki dream🤣

But on a serious note Anuj and Anupama are two mature ADULTS who are free to travel, be friends , work together or share a romantic relationship... who the hell does Baa think she is to rebuke her? and why is Anupama answerable to anyone including her good for nothing spineless son? I hope there is some reasoning behind her saying that line else it’ll be distasteful to have a 40 something year old female talk about protecting and proving her chastity in this day and age.

I feel the same. In bw some other dialogue wld have been there for anupamaa to speak like that. But if they say this just like that abt anuj idk what to say.

Just like how anu defended anuj infront of kinjal and samar she shld do the same infront of baa and vanraj too. Hope she does it one day.

See there is any other way to explain baa ? I mean if she takes side of anuj then baa will come up with another argument with her. Whole day we she just keep arguing ? No right. Baa didn't say anything about anuj she just spoke about unfavourable circumstances. I have heard statements like najane kab uski neeyat badal jaye. So many people do get exploited on their jobs. We all saw in case of Kinjal. Though in Case of anuj and Anupama it's different. As anuj said everyone tries to cut the wings of female and baa is doing the same.

My family/husband never interfere with my work decision! Because relations mai understanding and trust level he bahot high level ka hota hai ! Anupama ke jaise sirf naam ka family nahi hota hai!

I have seen regressive family mai agar women bahar kam karti ho toh she is answerable to every next family member aisa culture pehle se established hota hai! Writer is writing everything as per regressive family culture.

I can't understand his character, isn't he supposed to be impressed with Anuj's status and money. If Anu and Anuj get married, Anu's children would benefit the most😆. Apart from Samar, the other two are very materialistics. There is lots of inconsistencies in character development.

I think Toshu thinks that Anuj wants to take advantage of his mother. To be fair, he has seen his mother as uneducated, illiterate person his whole life and someone who took orders from people. He never got to know her and never bothered either. In his twisted way, he thinks he's trying to stop his mother from falling into bad company and doesn't really want to face the family drama. I didn't see today's episode though so I don't know what he said!!!
