Where has Tejo parents common sense gone!!!

Seriously, you know your older daughter marriage is hanging by a thread (a thread which I hope will break because Fateh is trash)

You hate Jasmine for what she did, but would it not be better to drag Jasmine home and lock her up in the room. How can you stay at home, knowing your daughter Jasmine, aka. the mistress is staying with her bf.

With all the talks Virk-Singh family talk about self respect, why haven't they called Tejo parents to take Jasmine away, atleast Jasmine won't be in Tejo face and Tejo won't keep seeing the disgusting relationship being flaunted in her face.

The smart thing would have been to keep Jasmine at home but now we are seeing sister rivary, about the academy, Simran situation.

In villiages especially, people respect is everything so why would you risk it and I am shocked, they will allow Jasmine to stay at Tejo sasural house.

I mean after that Canada NRI bride fiasco, next day itself they agreed for getting Tejo married to Jas, they agreed to getting Tejo married to Fateh, they pretty much forced Tejo to make Fateh meet jasmin and Gippy. I mean when they had basic common sense that we can expect them to show it now?

I would have liked Abhiraj taking matters in his own hand.i mean initially they showed good bond between him and Tejo and a very protective brother. What happened to him. How can he let his sister go though hell?

Her parents never had any sense. First the entire drama related to Canada. It was so stupid. If dadi only wanted to see her daughter once, then she can bloody well get a tourist visa. No one is stopping her. She doesnt need a PR.

Then not making any efforts to find the fraud dulha. Tejo had to so that.

Now that jasmine is living in Virk house, they are gayab. It is true that in a village, jasmine would probably be killed for honor, but the makers obviously dont want to show that.

Secondly, about locking up jasmine in home, wont work cause fateh himself is acting like an idiot.

Third, they are stupid enough to not ask to meet gippy and his parents, before fulfilling his so called demands. If there was even a land of idiots, tejo's parents would be the king and queen. Also, her dad is absolutely spineless. completely useless.

The show is obviously going towards comparing jasmine and tejo and showing how tejo is always better. This is not the right way forward, because fateh shouldnt choose tejo just cause he realises that when the 2 girls are face to face.

He should choose tejo cause he loves her.

Cheating is not physical, but also emotional and mental. Here, fatej cheated tejo in all 3 ways. He got physical with her, without deciding whether he loves her or not. Then he cheated her emotionally and mentally with all his lies.

Tejo is not completely blameless. She somewhere pushed fateh towards jasmine, with her forcing him to meet gippy and forgiving jasmine. Fateh didnt want any contact, but tejo being the sacrifical lamb, forced him for things he did not want to do and unknowingly helped jasmine. She did not even realise this when mami warned her. Yes, it seemed that fateh had moved on, but you dont need a degree in psychology to realise that a person needs time to move on. How long did fateh have, before he bumped into jasmine? A month at max? that was never enough to forget the girl he dreamed of for years.

also, why couldnt fatejo be sent somewhere for a month or so till jasmine would have gotten married and shipped to canada? jasmine only reacted cause she felt that fateh has moved on. If she believed that fateh was pining for her, she would have happily married gippy. again, this is not possible, cause this is a show.

Though Fateh does not deserve to be forgiven, that is not how life works. I am not saying tejo should forgive him instantly, but take her time and be sure.

Life is not black and white, it is shades of grey.

And this is why this does not feel like a story of two families living in a village, but just a tv show about two families. No family living in a village will have allowed their son to keep a mistress at home that too when he is married and the mistress in question is his own saali, and if it was really a village this affair would not have been hidden at all. All the neighbours would have gotten to know within a week and tongues would have been wagging. There is no feel of village life in this show. Something more like SP's show veera had a real village feel to it.

Common sense is with the cows who have disappeared since Canada track closed.
