Meet Mr. Farhad
On a Friday morning, Farhad was solemnly devoted in his prayers in the mosque.
A man made of cotton wool, a face stained with milk, a heart aced by snow and a soul transfixed like pristine water, the water molecules will collide with fierce fire.
He sumptuously prayed for the welfare of the people in the world and a minuscule for himself and gracefully penetrated his eyeballs into the light. The scintillating rays of the sun perforated through his cheeks and made his face glow like the Moon. He stepped outside and wandered his eyes to trace the slippers to adorn his feet.
When Farhad was on his way, he was interrupted by a beggar. Farhad slammed the breaks and gave a ten rupees note to the beggar. When the beggar showered a word of blessing as is prophesying a long life and prosperity, Farhad said, “Not me, bless my Anna!” The beggar was astounded and spoke the word as Farhad uttered and went on his way. Farhad’s Anna meant not only the world but the breath of his life, his words are mantra for his existence.
