Did Sonam play herself in Aisha?

I always felt that Sonam pulled off the character of Aisha rather well, and it's one of her better performances. I think that South Delhi elite attitude, the fashionista, the foot-in-the-mouth syndrome, the well-meaning girl who ends up misjudging situations and people resonated with Sonam the real person.

This is just guess work but she was rather good in the movie. Do you think she did justice to the role?

I liked only Abhay Deol in the movie. I don't believe Sonam is a well intentioned person in real life basis of her behaviour on Koffee with Karan. Sonam's Aisha was boring. I liked Sonam's performance in PadMan only though I haven't seen Neerja yet.

I think Sonam appears to me much nicer and kinder than most of the top actresses.

As for Minty's topic, yeah. She played herself and it was a good role for her!

This film had multiple flaws but I love watching it!

I think she did. Or maybe the character rubbed off on her. I liked watching it.
