Anupamaa, Anuj, College, Kavya

Any opinions on the below:

1. Anupamaa went to college, yet she can't say 'sorry' and 'thank you' properly. All her college friends that were at the party seemed modern, spoke English so she probably went to an English college, so how come she can't speak or understand English if she went to college?

2. Anuj looks very young compared to Anupamaa and the angle of him being in love with her for last 26 years is very unbelievable! An older actor like Ronit Roy would have been more believable...though Anuj (the actor) is amazing!

3. Why does Anupamaa always justify to Kavya? Why can't she just say that it "none of your business" and walk away!!!!

Dont agree. Their jodi is already too popular now and TRP has risen since his entry. All are liking and loving their jodi. CV ne uske young dikhne ka bhi explanation diya hai. Wo fit rehta hai aur Anupama ko ghar ke kaamo se hi fursat nahi . Aur doosri baat agar Ronit Roy jaisa aged man laate to main ye show kabhi an dekhti . Maine start ki Anuj ( Gaurav) ki entry ke baad se start kiya hai. Their Jodi is too popular now.

1) I know many people who are from vernacular medium(non English) and become successful with good career. How does being modern equals to knowing or being from English school? Anupamaa was shown she left college 12th grade. Her friends got opportunities to have a career, she didn't.

2) Both Anuj and Anupamaa are shown to be in their 40's. Anuj is shown as a super successful business tycoon. He has taken very good care of himself, now compare to Anupamaa who has been in a toxic environment, a mother, she even had cancer (I haven't seen that track) ,someone who doesn't care about herself at all. So she is bound to look that way. I think they look super awesome together. Their 1st dance sequence just was amazing. Anupamma seems to be so at ease with Anuj. Their trp chart is proof of that. I am glad they didn't take Ronit Roy, he is way too matured. Gaurav brings a cute college boy enthusiasm and can easily switch from a college boy lover to a mature person. I don't think Ronit Roy would suit that aspect.

Agree point by point.

I think one don't need education to speak any language. About the way she is speaking- that is more of the actor/director's call and a mistake. I totally agree that being from one region, and school - Devika and Anu should pretty much have same basic accent. one can totally work on their pronunciation. Sorry to people who might take offense but "sorry" and "thank you" are pretty basic words - those are not complex. Unless Anu has trouble with pronouncing different 'S'.

As per the Anu - Anuj pair - i think it is just the way they dress Anu. Making her look tired and out of fashion. Rupali herself is very beautiful, if you check her insta and one with her personal clothes picture s - you will see what I am talking about.

Last point I agree, not only Kavya - she doesn't need to give explanation to anyone in the house, well children are different story. They are still her blood.

Anupama did not study in english medium school. She study in hindi medum.. C that is why she always write her name in hindi. Aaj tak kabhi anupama ko english mein naam likhte dekha hai. Woh to. Khud kehti hai jub baat english mein hoti hai to kehti mujhe nahin samajh aa raha hai.even samar told bank officer to speak in hindi because anupama canmot understand much english She herself admit that uski english weak. Aur koi jaroori nahin ki english school mein padh ke english mein achi command ho jaaye. I have seen in real. Life english school mein padh ke bhi khuch student english mein achi command nahin hoti hai

And I have seen bahut logon simple englishword bolne mein bhi hamesha problem hoti

So it nothing shockimg that anupama cant say simple english word

@Bold - ya Gaurav does nail the character - actually I was hoping for Sumeet Raghavan actor who played Shahil Sarabhai.

But surprisingly this pair is also rocking the floor.
