The issue with Indian TV shows is that they take up conflicts but don't resolve it properly. They show one of the leads cheating/being toxic/misunderstanding/doing nonsense for drama/conflict/TRP and then turn them around overnight and make them resolve everything when they have to move on to the next track. This is why you have this marriage-divorce-almost marriage with third angle-remarriage again cycle in daily soaps. And this is also why 90 % of the relationships come across as shallow/toxic. Kuch Rang did better in S1. The writing had more depth & the third angles were sane. But S3 is pathetic in all regards. They have a wafer thin plot. None of them are in character (anyone who has watched S1 can tell this is not Dev/Sona/Ishwari but their watered down inconsistent flip flopping versions) & they are showing nonsense to fill up episodes. A character like Sanjana doesn't belong to a show like Kuch Rang. But then again, even this Dev, Sona & Ishwari don't belong to a show like Kuch Rang because S1 had way better writing thanks to Durjoy Dutta
Wafer thin plot which has pretty much crumbled.
Exploring Asha's death should have been a proper track, instead, it was a two episode drama: 1. Dev went to seminar, 2. Dev realized and built school.
It made absolutely zero sense whatsoever. Exactly what happened was not etched out, because the writers themselves seem to have no clue.
Now they are spending so much time on a useless 3rd angle, hoping to gain TRPs. Well.
