I would love to see Shiva whipped for Raavi 😂 Getting her attention at every moment, pretending he wasn't being a little boy desperate for love when someone else notices him, and then being pouty in the bedroom because wifey ignored him the entire day 😂 Then when wifey seduces him, he becomes all seductive and romantic 😍

KD would do justice to every shade! And watching Alice go from bossy to innocent to shy to needy would be 😍

This phase of shivi would be gold 🤩🤩

The nayaa nayaa pyarr walaa, can't keep their hands off each other walaa phase 😂😂

I was dissapointed with the epsiode where a drunk shiva confronts raavi in their bedroom the first time I saw it because their scene was repeatedly interrupted by gaura,Krish and then devta.i liked the scenes when I saw it the second time without interruption and fast forwarding the rest.

Imagine what the tv audience would have felt? The shivi confrontation was meant to be intense, emotional and something that keeps the audience on the edge.they spoiled the impact by inserting a random comic scene of dhara dreaming about shiva drinking and spilling water on gombi.they could have shown that scene at the end or better not shown it at all.

Exactly.. they even inserted random family scenes in between Shivi's scene at temple which lessened the impact of that scene i feel.. Family scenes were not needed in that episode.. some scenes are abruptly cut.. yesterday's auto scene also ended abruptly

.

Exactly

They do it knowingly I feel ,so that the audience doesn't change channel in between.

Many people who watch it on hotstar watch again on tv, so if they know only first 5 mins have shivi scenes then they would just watch that and switch off the tv or flip channels.

They can't dedicate an entire episode to shivi because the "leads" might have a problem with it.

So this is how to they make sure the audience watches the whole episode.

Yes, exactly 💖!

The reason I loved the OG so much is because they devote screen space and time to each couple appropriately. Even for DevTa! The drunk scene was so powerful because Kathir, someone who is silent, had a ton of things to say that night. He poured out his feelings and it was the first time the audience knew how much the marriage affected him.

The CVs are relying a lot on half-baked scenes here. Every time we think Shiva or Raavi will speak, another character comes in between them. Meanwhile, other characters are so underdeveloped that you wonder why they exist... like Dev, Mausa-Pa, sometimes even Kaka. They have 1-2 scenes where they are important, and then they are gone. I'm not even going to talk about the many "friends" that appeared...

A good drunk confession scene would've had at minimum 80% of the episode devoted to Shiva and Raavi. No other characters allowed to intervene. It would've highlighted Shiva's expressions, we should've gotten Shiva reaching out to Raavi, wanting to touch her, but at the same time refusing to touch her because he's disappointed that he could never be her "soulmate." We should've had scenes where he is crying about how he thought it would be all right to marry a girl and give her "life" after she tried to kill herself on the mandap... but now that he's fallen for her, he realizes he's "killing" her as well... just in a different way.

We should've had a scene where he realizes that his Dhara bhabi was wrong (this is very critical as he needs to someday move on from Dhara and think more about Raavi). And then at the end of it all, we should've had a scene of blank defeat... where he "reassures" himself that he'll be fine. He let go of things in the past (this can be a hint for his upcoming education track), and he could let go of things now).

True.. but the makers should know better when to cut scenes. They cut it just when the impact is building up, and the whole thing falls flat again 🤪

Also, without drama, they show won't get TRPs. No matter Shiva, Raavi or Dhara -- if any of them are creating high drama, there will be TRPs.

Both the audience and the makers are stuck 😆

In the Telugu version, they are more romantic with each other 😂 During the night of Krish's SR, Shiva gets the bed ready for the two of them and tells Raavi how "hot" she is despite giving birth to a child, and then he tries to initiate romance and wins in the end... and then during the education track, he refused to study unless she motivated him with a kiss or an SR afterwards 😂 (they are a very, very different couple in that version)

You said it beautifully ❤️❤️

You know when I started watching PS, I had no idea it was a remake or something like that.i saw the clip of Dev saying that they were dhara bhabis kids in the godhbharai and raavi coming forward as Shiva's proxy.i was curious to know why these grown up men are referring a woman of almost their own age as their mother? Then I saw the mirchi scene and I was again curious as to why this girl is talking like this to this guy? Shaadi karke tere hi ghar ana hai? What does this mean? I started my research on the show and them I got to know about the og version. And the first thing I heard about it was the kathir mullai drunk scene.it was so famous and so hyped.

The drunk scene was a highpoint of the show, it required atleast one epsiode dedicated to it.💔

And Shiva's expressions and thoughts should be exactly as you have said.❤️❤️

I wonder if he ever thinks about raavi trying to kill herself on the wedding day?

I still remember that few seconds glance shiva gave to the noose after he saved raavi.his expressions in that scene .he looked scared.💔

We have got just one dlg in the khandar where I could see that fear resurfacing.

I hope we get one scene where shiva panicks when he hears raavi has locked herself up in the room and gets flashback of the wedding.

I loved the lines about marrying her for Saving her life and then killing her in a different way.

👏👏👏

You said it. The build up is great, the hype is worth it and then it falls flat.😓

To be honest, sometimes I don't blame the makers.🤕🤕

What will they do if suman jumping into the well and anita pouring water on the cement and the family playing bhagam bhag for an entire episode gives them trps? 🤷
