I was just thinking about gender reverse. Had a husband used his wife to get attention from his ex while pretending to move on with his wife. How it will sound. Will we say poor him couldn't able to move on from his ex or will call it as cheating. And if a wife still gives chances to her husband despite knowing that her husband is using their relationship to make his ex jealous. Will we call the wife goals?

I always see what Pakhi does to Virat as harassment.. Her wanting to be with him, her trying to touch him intentions might not be that, but then that is harassment... A man doing it to the woman after constant denial would be shown as someone akin to the Darr character...she is very close to him, just that they have not gone ahead with she wanting to kill Virat's wife..

She sniffs Virat's tshirt when he is not there, touches his pillow, throws his wife's clutch in disgust.. and now goes on to harm herself and everyone else to get his attention...More than a married life, she needs treatment and she needs to be sent away.. In her obsession for Virat she is harming him, his wife, her husband and most importantly herself... RK's obsession was a bit toned down..Pakhi's have been really alarming.. She gathers nothing, nothing what is told to her w.r.t. Virat, his life or for that matter even what Samrat says...And she holds everyone else but herself responsible for her state.... She needs to get away from all this..

When she saw Samrat and they had a conversation and he asked her to take a decision, she met Virat thinking her marriage with Samrat is coming to an end, she just wanted to see if there's even one chance of Virat leaving Sai for her, She was rejected. Later, when Samrat met her she told him Virat has been rejecting her since one year

Next day, she sees and she doesn't say she wants him like she always did, there was the change in her, finally trying to move on. She wants to show Virat she can live happily without him and I have done this after break up, there's always a competition amongst ex, when they meet they want to show that they are doing a better job of moving on. In our case it is petty, in Pakhi's case it is alarming as she has no feelings for her husband and she is using hum.

I would have taken it all as pretense if she tried it in front of Virat and acted nonchalant in Virat's absence, asking Samrat to pick a saree for her, trying to act like other husband-wife, when questioner it is clear, she wants this happiness but she doesn't get it because she is faking, therefore Samrat's dialogue telling her that none can see her pain because they are outsiders, only she can help herself

About deserving better, I feel everyone deserves better, I love Samrat and I feel he deserves better family, better brother, better sister, better wife and better friend. Everyone has lied to him, at the same time I think Pakhi deserves better too, someone who will take her out of this mess to a doctor, someone who will see what living around Virat is doing to her. But again, Samrat chose this life for himself and so did Pakhi.

I have learnt not to use terms like harassment lightly so I have no opinion on it.

It is u who already formed opinion about me when I was just trying to have a healthy discussion. In her solo scenes with samrat I have seen her manipulating samrat & telling lies when he talks about her equation with virat. Ur interpretation of the scene can vary. Anyway it's futile to have a discussion now.

I don't have an opinion on you, in your first post you made your opinions on Pakhi very clearly, when you have made up your mind and explained your views, I don't wish to change it or give an input

@bold1 I would not go on to force myself on ex, abuse his wife or enter his room anytime when he is there not there, touch him without his consent and ask him to run away with me after being rejected 100 times..Its not just a normal competition....and keep me with him in whichever way he wants to keep me ...treat me any manner He wants to treat me? Cannot be compared....not at all... Yes it is definitely alarming when she goes on to put fire on the cloth that is not just a part of the gathbandhan but also resembles her married life.. She is risking her life and life of so many there...for what to see if the ex is still in love with her and what if he saved her out of humanity, she would frame it in her mind that he is still in love with her...like usual....Can it be called mere competition.. In my opinion sadly I dont see it as mere competition..

I have seen men being harassed and giving into depression in when treated in similar manner that is being shown here....in this show they show all this with such negligence...that its infuriating...So this for me is not a light situation...and makers are very reckless and casual about it.

Also since she is so clueless about things, exactly thats why I mentioned she does not understand a thing, not even what she has done to her life in her aim to get a man's attention and not even that man...How self harming she has become....All in all Right now she needs to get away from the family, I rest my case..

Even I believe every one deserve better & second chance in life except few cases( hardcore criminals ) coz god himself give many chances to human to improve themselves & not body know what future actually holds as time is unpredictable .

U will be shock how I read virakhi to end up together they pine for great people sai & samrat & what not, I feel how can someone guarantee something for d future without knowing what future holds , who know virakhi really turn out a successful couple ?

I had given ramayan example as there is a strong believe & theory 4 sage Valmiki that he dacoit ratnakar who was reformed by sage narad & further after doing great penance he turned to sage Valmiki who not wrote ramayan but gave shelter 2 goddess Sita & trained luv & Kush . Mythology has full of example where people do changed for d good . So I don't get why pakhi can't change ? Why she don't deserve second chance , even I remove mytho apart then it is said never say never as it don't exist only.

If they follow tamil version then samrakhi do got an happy ending but if they follow KD then pakhi will be forever insecure sadly samrat will die as badshah died coz of health issue . For short time period samrakhi relationship improve when Shruti enter that time RP supported emon.

Virat absence will definitely help samrakhi a lot if makers really want pakhi to be shown moved on vaise pakhi ko bahut pehle hi move on kar lena chahiye

If they bring virat memory loss drama then virat will be out for sometime that time samrakhi can develop if makers want but I have very less hope about it .

Samrat , pakhi , virat , karishma , Mohit , devi , Ashwani etc all deserve better .

Well I don't find any of the characters in Ghum to be called perfect.. Including both main leads..All are hypocrites tbh..

Though Samrat did the needful..No sane person with little bit of morals won't sit quietly seeing a girl being locked up by her husband.. Then again when Devi tai was comparing her misery with Sai both brothers looked down.. All characters are flawed other way around...😆
