The other thing I liked about ZGH was that Kashaf toils hard and becomes a respectable civil servant without any recommendation or help. She is not dependent on a rich husband to fulfill her needs.

The father realizes his folly, not because Kashaf is married to a rich family or anything, but because she becomes respected and well off truly on her own grit and merit. It was so inspiring to watch the turn of fate. It was like every hardship Kashaf and her mom faced had meaning to it.

But in BALH2 Meera and the family are still struggling. Mahendar Sood is back when Priya is getting married to a rich family, but only to create trouble 😐

I think Fawad's characters became popular more because of Fawad's good -looks than the actual qualities of those characters..

I have heard that the Dastaan serial is quite good and his best.. gotta watch it sometime..

yes Kashafs mom's character was so well written and it explained why kashaf turned out to be so strong

I have only watched ZGH and didn't like Zaroon.. I often wondered why Kashaf fell for him.. somehow I didn't feel the love from Zaroon's side.. it was more like he needed a wife so he married her. Also I didn't like how they showed Zaroon's mom in a bad light just because she was a modern woman ..same for his sister..

But Kashaf's character OMG ⭐️ one of the best written female characters ever 👏

I don't think she loved him at first... but later i guess she got used to him like most people in arranged marriages...
