He was good during initial episodes... But once the butchering started he turned out to be the worst... He literally called her 'baanj' after losing ruhi... He said multiple times that you dont deserves to be a mother.

Dont worry ...S1 ram wasn't butchered,even when he was angry he never crossed limits .

I got the chance to read the "Zindagi Gulzar Hai" original story a few years back on Wattpad, Zaroons character is written in a way that Zaroon from the tv series looks like, saint.if you can get hold of it you should read it.
