Raghav has never claimed to be a saint and he has resorted to unfair means even while being in love with her.. like when he wanted to save Keerthi..he stole the evidence she had, bribed the watchman.. so mera ghamamdi rao kuch galat kar hi nahi sakta sounds misplaced.. as an audience I know why they have her say these dialogues. Deeper the trust, the bigger will be hurt when it is shattered because of all the things he has been hiding from her and lying about.. and ofcourse to show Raghav's internal conflict like he had during the hit and run track.. that time also he was crippled with fear of losing her.. (and his sister).. his abandonment issues are always gonna be there..

I think it’s very natural to trust someone you love and take their word for it. If Raghav has promised her that he would avoid tax evasion henceforth, obviously Pallavi will trust him. That makes sense. Infact it wouldn’t make sense if Raghav promises something and Pallavi still doesn’t trust him. Her trust isn’t misplaced at all. About bribing the witness and stealing the evidence- she has let it go as she knew his motivation behind those actions. It’s been stated time and again that Raghav would do anything to protect his family and Pallavi clearly thinks that it’s justified, because she gets his protectiveness. She never expected an apology for that incident or not even complained once, instead went to prison with him because she knew his heart was at right place. Which is exactly what she said today.

For me that scene made for a logical base to the future fights .

That's definitely why it was added in later. They changed the dialogue from the earlier precap and added this in instead. If he had never made that promise, Pallavi would have no reason to expect him to be clean. But now that he did, she has every right to feel betrayed.

But he was so during the accident as well sometimes

Lwr is the alter ego of Raghav : it shows him the other side of the coin - a side which he isn't thinking abt

So whenever Raghav's own thought is right : like today lwr - shows him if he does that what will happen

So I kinda took it like that it's the thought clash we have when we wanna make a decision -

Me too - On the second watch I just concentrate on Raghav - Pallavi scenes. And can the screenplay stop dumbing down Keerti? Like Sunny is given easy wins because Keerti is a loud motor mouth who has to spill all the secrets in front of him - like someone giving money to Abhishek's family.

Yeah I think a lot of us just assumed LWR was his "good voice" but it's really just a manifestation of his subconscious - so LWR will give a variety of advice/ have a variety of thoughts, not necessarily always good.

I feel LWR is Raghav's inner conscience. He is the one who thinks practically and now the stakes are so high that if Raghav wants to disclose the truth to Pallavi there is every chance that Pallavi might walk away from him which he can never survive. LWR is like that survival instinct which we have and for Raghav Pallavi is necessary for living, breathing and surviving. There is no way Raghav can exist without his SKD. that is what LWR tells Raghav.

Yeah i think before we were given the info about the promise, it looked more like blind trust. Now it's not. She asked him not to do something, he agreed, she has no reason to think otherwise.

That original precap dialogue wasn't in the episode so I'm glad they edited that out. THAT sounded more like blind trust. But now, with how the episode played out, it's not blind trust. It's just the immense trust you have in your partner.

Before I knew of this promise - I had an issue with them using the word trust so much. Because it didn't make sense. Believing someone can do no wrong isn't necessarily a trust matter, it's a faith matter. It's having faith in their righteousness, belief that they can do no wrong. But now, the use of the word trust makes more sense. I'm glad the writers sought to think to add that in.
