Every time Devika has entered the scene she has stood up for Anupama and helped her connect with herself. Whether it is the outing, the revelation of Vanya being a couple or the way she helps her recover from the panic attack or keeping Anuj updated of Anu.
She will give them both the required push at the required time.
Baba Yaga cannot see beyond her ladla beta. When Hasmuk has not been able to drive sense it is always better to remove the filter clouding the vision of others. The family or involved folks cant give a reality check or play Devils advocate the way a friend does.
It is lovely to see Anupama surrounded by such lovely people who are her friends and wellwishers.
Regarding Rakhi like you from day 1 i too have said a person like Rakhi can never be anyone's well wisher including Kinjal.
She thrives where there is conflict. She sees the entertainment quotient and opportunity to humiliate in every situation.I definitely would like her to be at miles length from me.
I agree with everything you said about devika and the wellwishers in anupama's life.
The only thing i disagree with is about rakhi.
Does she thrive on conflicts and drama? Absolutely yes
Does she enjoy creating conflicts and arguments? Yes again.
But does she actually speak anything that isnt true? NO
Any can be your wellwisher in my opinion if you just have the proper perspective of seeing things.
Rakhi has ALWAYS thrown cold hard undeniable facts at shah family that they are simply incapable of handling. Ofcourse the way she says it is judgemental and condescending and maybe even humiliating. But she has yet to say more nonsense than we have already heard from most other characters.
Rakhi told paritosh that he has his father's blood in him and blood will show itself sooner or later. Couldnt paritosh have taken it as a challenge? That he will prove it now that he isnt as much of a moral less low-life egoistic jerk as his father is? But what did paritosh do? He went the exact SAME way that his father did and probably went even further with it.
If they had taken an offence to even half of what rakhi has said and decided to prove her wrong anupama would have been much much closer to freedom and self-reliance. But the only thing they do is give her lectures in sanskaar and some or other bullsh*t and then go ahead and prove her right.
