Those 2 may be difficult to dislodge. Especially as you rightly point out that only core voters are mainly active now. Soumit's support base is not visible on usual SM. But it is large and completely dedicated. To outvote such contestants you need unbiased general public voting in significant numbers.

I feel there are not enough viewers who vote on performance alone. That can happen when the viewership shrinks. The final shortlist may have 3 TRP draws and 2 heavily supported contestants whose skill levels are unimportant to the voters.

Very true 😭 now its all about fan favorite. I know the winners are based on fans support but when u see talented and deserving contestants in the bottom and go home, do feel resentment towards the Channel.

In previous seasons though the finalists were neck to neck talent wise but to me, except Rupsa, the other 2 seasons winners were not winner level, some of the other finalists were robbed from the title. But this season, i think the Final 3 were already decided by audiences and channel, lets see who wins the battle of the favorite.

Right now what I miss the most from previous seasons is the eliminations by judges 😭 That was fair. Dance in pairs, weaker ones do the Sunday act, the weakest is chosen by judges and eliminated.

This season, judgement is a joke. They are only there to bring in trp. What was even the point of having the judges on the show if they don't have any decision to make!! They say elimination is based half on judges scores but I'm 100% sure it's just based on votes. No other way the kids who've been on the bottom so far would be there if judges scored. And if they had eliminated Florina this way, I wouldn't even have complained because hum andhe nahi hai yaar, dikhta hai hame bhi.

If based on merit of the performances, my list for elimination would go like this in order - Esha, Soumit, Amit, Spriha, Arshiya, Sanchit, Florina, Aneesh, Prithvi, Pari, Neerja, Pratiti, with Anshika winning the show because she's the only contestant who's never really had a bad act. Sanchit and Florina get points for being unique contestants and okay, maybe I'm internally biased for Flo 🤪 But my point is, the elimination happening now is almost in the opposite direction

And to answer what Robz asked earlier, I pretty much had a hunch about the winner right after grand premier, but after Pawandeep won II, I think I know who will win SD 😆

Also, like Momma said, very clearly, only fools like us are still following the show 🤣 Mostly the show fans and the contestant fans who keep fighting on SM. So vote bhi usi hisab se aayega. I wish they had the earlier season elimination format where judges choose Top 8 and voters did the rest. Anyways, like @RealityShow mentioned, we can just go with the flow now and enjoy the show. At least I can be happy that my favorite pair stands a chance

Agree I've hated the judgement this year. It looked like the judges were hell bent to prove they did a correct decision by selecting Esha over such talented contestants on the audition round. That was the first backlash they got right after auditions and they made sure they keep on proving that they did the right thing by selecting her. Honestly if you look at Esha's dancing videos on instagram a year ago and her last performance on the show, there's no difference at all, no growth at all and obviously it's the fault of the show since they concentrated on her eating more than the dance.

To think I was ready to believe Esha would be the next Rupsa sometime during the middle of the season 🤣🤣

Can't say their strategy didn't work 🤪 I mean, look at her fanbase mahn, I'm appalled at the comments under Esha's posts
