Hinterland Diaries from India:

1. A homemaker did BEd after cooking, cleaning, washing and being pregnant, giving birth to a child amidst all this. She secured a job for herself in a school. She used to wake up at 5 to cook and do every household work while the Saas cribbed. She came back home in the afternoon only to serve fresh chapatos, then again do all the chores. She quit the job ultimately as her body gave up.

This is heartbreaking. It is so sad that this still happens in many parts of the country, including among decently educated people. Women are still limited to the kitchen or having kids, and are not allowed to go out and work or pursue their dreams 😔

If PS shows something different here that would be great. Rishita is already starting a job, Raavi should start her education too, since she wanted to. If she doesn't want to it's fine, but if she wants to then she shouldn't have to sacrifice it to do house chores.

Shiva will definitely not let her sleep on the floor.

I feel he will go to the angan, but a tiny part of me hopes that shiva ka koi aisa dlg hoga that will convince raavi to sleep in the room.but of course he will sleep on the floor unless raavi tells him to sleep besides her.

But will Raavi tell him to sleep beside her? She herself doesn't want to sleep in the room because she doesn't consider herself as his wife. I wonder if there will be family interference, or if they will mutually decide to stay in for the sake of bhabhi maa and her stress.

All these childhood references between shivi are really interesting! I hope the CVs don't forget about shiva's dialogue "adjust karati aa rahi hai" and we get more on what he meant. That would shed so much light onto how their childhood really was.

Even GauRa and dev can contribute here, since they have seen shivi's childhood interactions

High possibility of angan if shiva leaves or kitchen if ravi leaves..🤪..I dnt think they will stay in the room..she is too detached right now..😔..only dhara is in her mind at the moment ...

I am going to watch Dev yet again today. Let me see if he is helping Raavi and Rishita with household chores because he stopped going to the store. He is not working outside and st some point MBA topper has to help at home, or at the store or even work outside jobs. IDK how you supposed to like him. We can appreciate certain scenes he is in with other characters like few DevTa scenes, Shiva- Dev marble scene or even the scene between them at the haveli when Dev apologizes to Shiva but as an individual he has been a disappointment. After watching Jeeva in the OG, am not sure how makers of this version could go so wrong with Dev’s character😕

I am not expecting them to show the male members suddenly become self reliant and do half the daily chores efficiently..considering the way they have shown them, it is obvious that they dnt know a thing..gombi has been shown to partially know stuffs. Like make neembu pani..know where utensils and some of the groceries are located .he might not knw the heavy cooking..but him finding late night snack for pregnant dhara is also shown as a matter which has to be hidden from suman..so we can see clearly the cause of their incompetence in doing even a simple work such as finding and serving themselves..

I am expecting them to try to help..like chopping vegetables..cleaning up utensils..drying clothes... Something which needs effort and time but not much efficiency..during the initial episodes..there was a scene where the three brothers were cooking food for dhara and hell was loose in that kitchen..so I am rather apprehensive abt them doing any main chores unless they learn to do it...

I also wish the writers elaborated on the “adjust karati aa rahi hai”. Hope there will be a continuation of it in Wednesday’s episode. Before even Raavi coil react, he asked her sleep in the room on the bed and then she went to say only his wife and Pandya family bahu has the right to sleep in the room. Even if there is no continuation, I want Raavi to confront him some day when things cool down a little more between them. What he meant by “Adjust karati as rahi hai”. What are the things she did made him feel that way. Now that Gautam has warned them to behave hope we get more meaningful and sane conversations whenever they choose to talk.

I never understood dev..the whole somnath knew ravis feelings for dev..and yet he didn't?..too lame..

he said he was friends with ravi..then why didn't he think twice before asking dhara to meet rishithas family before telling ravi his truth..he never gave a second of thought that he was practically ruining her life by hiding such a big thing until the last moment. 😕

He left rishitha becz her dad insulted dhara..2 years of love and promises all goes down the drain when it is a matter of dhara. 🤪

Ok..all done..he made a mistake.🥱.I will try to forget..But...on the day of marrg..when ravi tried to commit suicide. He didn't even have the heart to see to it that she was ok..was he even a friend of hers?..thats the worst thing I have seen from him..he said he was guilty.. but did he show his guilt..showing constipated expressions are not guilty.. guilt is shown in actions..in care..in worry..

After that ,began his useless behaviour in case of rishitha..ordering around rishitha to break ties with her family..🤪..shutting her up with the same khisa pita dialogues..crying in dhara bhabhi arms complaining abt wife. 🤢. Shameless man. Didn't he knw how rishitha was in those 2 years..didn't he even try to explain to her about his favourite dhara bhabhi and their lifestyle.. during those 2 years. So dhara and his family were not important then when they were just dating?..the more I think of him the more of a creepy spineless a**hole I feel he was..

Not to forget...After all his kaandhs..he has the audacity to keep telling shiva, bada bhai hoon mein thera..(next morning after marrg before kidnapping)..😡.BS..🤪

Dev does not have an ounce of sense of responsibility..his wife is left alone to deal with the total hostile environment..where he remains in the bg threatening her now and again..forget support..when rishitha does wrong.. that time he was spineless to make her stop..like when she taunted ravi since marrg...

I really dnt understand how is he even acting to be like some devta ..🤪🤪
