I totally agree....But I guess standing from the prospective boys point of view - accepting another member in the family has more than emotional attachment to it....it's a huge responsibility and obviously they find the answer to that through money🤔...

For others dowries are a custom....their mother, grandmothers, great-grandmothers bought dowries with them so why not their wives?

And unfortunately, no matter how stupid the boy is, his list of deamnds is always ready😳....even here in the UK the dowry system exists, though it's a lot less subtle🤔...

Sorry for harping on about it😆....it's just that I was discussing this with my mom so it's packed in my head at the moment!😛

Omg even in UK?!🤢I hate that soo much! If a girl comes, she leaves behind everything. The boy should in return pay her money because she's the one who's coming!😡😆
