Anupamaa
Anupamaa has a heart of gold and she is that special. She has existed rather then lived and she is just about started to live her life and fulfil one or two dreams. And as Devika pointed out... Anupamaa has lived without love for 26 years and she wont asked for it or even expect it. Anuj has loved her selflessly for 26 years and he will never tell her.
We have watched since start (or a long time) seen her journey - the moments and the pain, that woman has gone through. At times mental abuse in words and playing with her emotions, the taunts. Making her feel unworthy or even to the point forgetting about her. Her pain matters, her life matters, her thoughts matters, her feelings matter, and importantly her happiness matters. Something the family ignore beside Samar and also Kinjal value and to motivate her (and Bapuji) buts mostly been Samar who values and sees his mother not get the credit she deserves for years. But a support - a companion gives is much different and on another level. And this is something Anupamaa was deprived off and Love. At one point she does say to Anuj when he offers to give her a lift. She says I don't need anyone, i can go myself. But his companionship wil be important in her life.

I'm glad Anuj met Anu after she had gained some confidence & is on the way to become independent. Had he met Anu of 1st episode, it would've broken his heart into a million pieces to see his free spirited love reduced to a woman stripped of her confidence & self-worth.

Another good song from the movie Anamika. Apt few lines for Anuj the bits he was hearing , and we visually hear as the song fades. Impactful again.
To love the same person for years... to love without condition that is what Anuj has done and is doing.
I am not surprised that he is a poet, to express his love in shayari's. To be a pure hearted soul just like Anupamaa. To love a woman for years on end... still in love with her. Without expectations and hopes and conditions. Selfless Love. Even now knowing she is seperated and not married anymore. To know she has lived without love in her life for years. - he still doesnt come up with any hopes or conditions.
"Na usko chubhti hai jisse haan ki umeed hoti hai"
Even to have a dance with her - he didnt expect it. Just to see her at the reunion, he was happy. But he cant help but express his love in his shayaris and words - as the song goes - Chhupana Bhi Nahi Aata, Jatana Bhi Nahin Aata. He will love her like he always has done. To help her if she needs his help... and maybe even finally be friends.... Friendship is the next step in their journey.
He really does embodies the dialogue from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil -
"Ek tarfa pyar ki taqat hi kuch aur hoti hai ... auron ke rishton ki tarah yeh do logon mein nahi batti ... sirf mera haq hai ispe" He is happy in his Unrequired Love. He has peace in it like he said... if he dares to hope, there will be no peace. Peace he has cos he doesn't hope. He only has a right on his love for her.

The story has just begun..once anuj determines to win over anupama..we can witness some serious romance n desperation..till now he is calm n nt having hopes..once he gets a ray of hope..it will be really exciting to watch dem..waiting for it1Smiling face with 3 hearts

What a line - No woman is going to come close to Anupamaa. I did like that he did try and move on but he didnt find the one or could cos they just werent the one - they werent Anupamaa. And i remembered a dialogue from Mohabbatein on Raj Aryan who kept loving Megha even after she was gone... "Main aaj bhi usse utni hi mohabbat karta hoon ... aur is liye nahi ki koi aur nahi mili ... par is liye ki usse mohabbat karne se fursat hi nahi milti"
Anuj pretty much said Anupamaa - is his dil, his chand, and his pyar and his dard.
His love is captured in his expressions, heart and his book of poems. The man even kept a rose... lamented so in a sense his rose is still the same as his love - its not withered. I do wonder if this rose was the one, he decided to propose with. Trying to remember back to what Devika said about Anuj first time - it seems that he was going to propose on the same day that Anupamaa got her rishta from Shah House. Anuj must of gotten a rose. Most likely his mother's kangan. I believe it was also on Valentine's Day too.
Devika also rightly pointed out what kind of people are Anupamaa and Anuj made of- (reminded me of the dialogue in Veer-Zaara). Anupamaa has remained without love for 26 years and she wont ask that from life. Anuj won't tell her even after being in love with her for 26 years
They must of been made from the same soul cos even their names has ANU in it.
Can we mention just how easily their convo flowed as she said she can go herself, and that he shouldnt dance like he has anywhere else lol. And importantly she said she will remember him now... before she didnt but now she will.
And Anupamaa had a good night, she enjoyed herself... for some time she could forget her worries and household and family worries. The moment she leaves... she is back on the track of thinking about her kids and her bapuji and baa. I liked seeing Anupamaa recalling her night (in a way she was thinking about him too - as he mentions she wont be thinking about him but she did indirectly through the song), and the dancing - and how she danced again lol. Whenever Anupamaa dances, its a treat to watch, cos Rupali is such a lovely dancer and graceful moves. Also where she can be free, she doesnt feel restricted, her dance lets her be free. And sometimes to have little joy in her life... she can be like a childlike smiles and gestures she does. Its cute. Anuj has alot to see and experience about this Anupamaa, and i am excited to see their journey. And i hope one day Anupamaa gets to know the depth of this man's love. Understand his Shayaris, and see his book of poems and the rose. And Anuj to see this Anupamaa, the one we know and see every day. Why Anupamaa is still special and her heart of gold.
How can we not mention GK kaka and Anuj bonding. Too sweet! Cool Kaka indeed. I love that he knows about his love for Anupamaa. I cant wait for GK and Anupamaa to meet too.
