Well farhad case is not complicated its very simple but situation is Complicated its more of social pressure & honour . Yes u use right word its devotion .we all witness atleast read in our life these kind of love .devotion comes with price apka sab choot jata hai .

Yes dekha nahi but we all have read about love like Farhad in novels and in books, and as a viewer it also gives the tragedy lovers a kind of sadistic pleasure, when a man dies in a woman’s love misery it becomes fairy tallish.

You know at times I question myself that if the situation would be different and Mahi Usko miljata, the. How would Farhad deal with the happiness? How would he react upon the fact that Mahi loves him and is going to be with him always?

Woh angle toh dekha hi nai..its anybodys guess..love and marriage r 2 diff things.. family dynamics is totally a diff zone. .somehow when I picture Mahi with Farhad, the only scene that comes to my mind is , Mahi ghissing his bartan near the nali. See its not a pleasant picture and you can say it's pessimistic thinking , but aankhen bandh karne se sach toh nai badalta. If this is what SHE wanted , n she ready to gamble her life for soulful love , be my guest..karo zaroor. 😆 Pyar ka fitoor.hi aisa hai ke practicality factor toh zero hota hai.

Yes Mahi washing dishes or living a financially limited life would be inevitable but I still feel Nahis own thoughts would’ve freedom, Farhad has a very simple and loving family and unke saath Mahi would have a loving relationship, she wouldn’t have to think about the world to express what would make her happy, Farhad would not give her luxury but he would have given her the freedom to make and decorate that house with her own will, she would not have expensive stuff but every day Farhad would take her out for street food and she would have the right to lead a life where she wouldn’t have to think about saving someone’s reputation only reveal her real self and love and make a house of affection.

Haveli mei she has every luxury but she wasn’t ever happy or proud of it, time again she has said that she only dies things to save reputation, Farhad would’ve freed her from that burden. I’m not saying they would be perfect but I’ve no doubts that they would love each other and make a little house of happiness.

And yes it sounds fairy tallish only and that’s why it’s forbidden, that’s what the writer also emphasized that maybe materialistic stuff and financial security always overrides the opportunity of finding someone you could genuinely treasure.

Snowhite , kitchen ke kam karba isn’t a gender limited role, both husbands and wives should share it and do it, washing dishes or cleaning the house doesn’t make anyone unhappy, the unhappiness will only arise due to lack of mutual trust and compatibility, there’s a say paisa sabkuch kharid sakta hai lekin kismat or happiness nahi.

Farhad grew up in a middle class family but he loved his life like a prince, Mahi grew up in a feudal with all luxuries but even bathroom jane ke liye she has to take permission, so it depends on you and every individual that what do you want? Paisa and jagirdari see khushi milti toh Sikka would be happy, Sahiba would be happy, but they’re not, You need to value your worth by keeping materialistic stuff aside.

Aaj Taimoor zinda bhi hota toh also Mahi would’ve been a puppet to her saas and a low key house maid of those kids, things wouldn’t be very different.

It depends on what ones priorities are..when we venture into the real world , a lot of things we learn through experience..probably, at ur age , I would be saying the same thing..when I got married my views were diff but now if my daughter chooses someone like Farhad, I will get a heart attack all factors r imp, including economic ones..for someone who lived a life of luxury, it takes a lot to come down to this level. Someone who studied in convent will feel sad that her children will have to study in govt school ..when it's the question of basic necessity, only the person who goes through knows how difficult it is. In times of medical emergencies govt hospital ke dhakke jo khayega usko pata hoga. Those who haven't lived beyond that level have nothing to compare it with..pyar sirf 4 din ki chandni rehta hai chahe kaisa bhi ho in real life..not fiction.

Vaise I dunno why you say sahiba is unhappy and Mahi wud be unhappy with Tim. Wo bechara marr gaya abhi usko chod dete hain. Love etc looks good only till the time stomach is filled and necessaties r met..luxury toh mein keh hi nai rahi..what seems to be a problem is girls are not allowed to choose in their families....ab ye toh Har doosre paki show mein hai. Aisa maat bol yaar heart attack? 🥺.. Farhad itna worthless hai kya? Shayad issiliye he himself also thinks he’s not good enough for anyone. But I always thought he’s so bright, he would’ve got a good job and maybe not as good as what Mahi deserves but koshish karta ke he would fulfill her needs 😭. I feel bad that the writer made him a mockery because he’s not wealthy enough and it actually is true that no matter kitni mohabbat ho, he cannot fight with the societal norms.

I myself have been brought up in a middle class family but I know that how much I tried to fulfill all the necessities, I’m not rich but I can do things which my family would be proud of and maaze ki baat ye hai ki my mother actually belongs to a very wealthy family but my Dad was a simple man with a simple job. So I think it’s just your focus and target needs to be set.

coming back to Farhad, I feel the smartness he had and kindness he had won so many hearts like Nisar uncle and Nazim shah, wouldn’t be as useless as he looks now, he did have talent but wasted. I said Sahiba is unhappy because her life starts with being a robotic jee maa ji with her saas and ends with advising Mahi, her husband runs after blood and poloitics, she has no children, do you think it’s a happy life just because she has power and money? T ko toh chordiya but look how Sikka is a puppet to his mother, T would be same too, Mahi ki life would be like Sahiba, she would have to listen to her saas always and obviously take care of the house, bartaan nahi dhona parta but nanny zarur hoti 😆

With Farhad I feel like he would and his family would value her desires too because she was already coming from a higher class, and ye bast Farhad toh always would keep in mind, he loved her because he did see that simplicity in her even though it turned out to be fake .. lol

By the way great discussion everyone, I love reading all the views and it makes me say that we could write a better love story for Farhad 😆😳.
