Yes. I concur. Thanks for the read! I'm glad you enjoy my works.
Thank you for reading and putting forth your thoughts. I'm glad y'all are resonating with the true essence of these two flavourful characters. I loved nitpicking their individual traits.

I have been comparing and contrasting these two characters and their individual traits from some time now. I wonder whether their equation strike a balance or is it just teetering at the precipice of an abyss now. I donot want to give any opinion in this matter, rather I want some from others. I will just note down my observations.
I believe they are old souls reuniting on this plane. The spark that they have, the subtle messages that they communicate with each other... they run too deep.
Pallavi is the quintessential good girl of the family. She obeys and helps and goes out of the way to avoid getting obliged or be grateful of. She is compulsively compassionate, undeniably kind, sometimes diabetically sweet and mostly has a small share of every other virtue ever discovered as well. She helps everyone despite their motives and her interpersonal relationship with any of them or lack thereof. She is brave and loyal and courageous as well. She knows how to stand up to people, for what she believes is right and remain undettered in the front of anyone whom she believes might possess the slightest risk to her family. She will burn for the people she loves.
Pallavi has you said is an archetype of everything god and righteous. But what she lacks is the sense of seeing through people. She doesn't think someone could love her deeply despite being a given throughout her journey that we have been a spectator to. An indication that the girl, might have an open heart for everyone else but she had shut the same for herself. She wasn't acquainted to the idea of self-love and even though she gave without expectations, she received adulation as obligations. She has been too good and selfless for her own good.
She is also quick to judge and has implicit faith on the system which has given us a narrowed down defination of right and wrong. She sees the white without blemishes and the black without sparkles and has no patience for the grey in between. She trusts without inhibition and forgives without rancour. She is stubborn and adamant regarding her beliefs and come hell, heaven or high water she would not bend for what she thinks is wrong. She is deliberately obtuse regarding her righteousness which tends to get overbearing at times.
I believe she jumps to conclusions and isn't a very good judge of people. She have always surrendered to her fate / destiny because she never had anything or anyone to put up a fight for. Thats why she couldn't be bitter for long with Raghav. Probably because all this while, she was alone in her pursuits. The change I have witnessed is post her acceptance of Raghav. Now that she has him, she has something to hold on to. She puts up a fight... whether it is to stand upto VD or the pretense with Mandar. She was always stubborn but now she is channeling it to protect the ones she loves. She is now learning to see beyond the masks that people wear.
She is witty and smart and humourous. She knows how to play the situation in her favour. She is calm and composed and rarely gives way to hysterics. She prefers to see only the good in people yet is unafraid of their bitter side as well. She loves, like it is her only path to salvation. She would rather die than be separated from the one she loves. She is reliable and resplendent in her freshness.
I think all this while she was calm and composed it because it has only been about her which she hardly cared about. But now with the fear of loosing Raghav engulfing her, you see she becomes frantic, desperate and panicky. Isn't the entire premise of hurting herself based on desperation and panic?
She is Persephone. She is spring and will freeze over into winter for the one she loves.
Oh I love this reference!
Raghav is the typical untempered rougue we all secretly love. He is brash and raw. He has the grit of a sticky gum which refuses to come out untill you peel your skin along with it and has the polish of an uncut diamond. He is perpetually furious like a volcano waiting to erupt. He is compulsively impulsive, characteristically egotistic and a disaster waiting to happen. He is arrogant to a fault and self aware of his varied vices to the point of being vain. He is loud and savage and his presence attracts creepers like parasites to a strong host. He is built like an unbreakable wall and stands like it as infallible.
Years of hardship, hid Raghav in layers of grit, arrogance, anger and obsession to achieve. These were his defense suits to protect his already bleeding heart and soul. Survival was his instinct but he was buried deep in the guilt struggling to remove layers of allegations that suffocated him. He achieved everything with the aim of winning over his family. He was loud because he wanted his Amma to respond to his calling while he was locked out of their lives.
He is scarred and he is hurt. He smarts from the littlest of injuries and is affection starved. He is also painfully magnanimous, generous to a fault and has a rapier like tongue. He is bitter and cyanical and broken. He loves like he breathes, like a necessity for survival. He will kill for the people he loves. He suffers and he persevers. He is sharp as a whip and clever as a fox and ingenuious as a shark. He operates in the grey, teeters towards the black and longs for the white. He is headstrong and thick skulled.
He was naive when he was tricked and so he grew into a shrewd no one would dare to mess up with. In an attempt to protect what was left, he kept killing himself. He has been a parched soul who knew what it was to be loved... he knew what family is and then what it is to be devoid of it. So he adores all the love and cherishes all his relationships. For one drop of love, he will bleed to the last drop of his blood. He is the ruthless and invincible Raghav Rao to the world, but a child at heart who can be conquered by love.
He is fearless and refuses to forgive and be part of the soceity and the system which had long thrown him to the wolves. He is surprisingly honest and unknowingly caring. He would break and bend and fight and kick and scream to keep what he believes is his. He is bewildered at being cared for and overwhelmed at being loved. He is smug, suave and swanky.
The society took away his family when he was defenseless kid. And now he hates the unfairness and the hypocrisy through which its premises operates. He was shunned, berated, cursed and outcasted by his own mother. The one person we run too... and he believed himself to be undeserving. He reached the zenith alone... so that he could make himself visible to others. But yet, couldn't protect himself from the enshrouding darkness. The sliver of hope... of love and light still makes him blind and he has to adjust his sight to believe if its true.
He is Hades. He is winter and will melt into spring for the one he loves.
Atleast he is not a wlf hiding under a garb ❤️
Now I have no idea whether this black and white can strike a balance and remain afloat. But I can safely say that though I personally love both the colours, my favorite has to be grey, the ultimate mixture.
Thanks for the tag Anushka... This was a beautiful post and I had to reply to this. Just was occupied with painting work at home. Sorry for the delay 😳
