Yes it’s always supposed to have a tragic ending and fans are supposed to be ready to face the tragedy. I feel KAM3 fans are really cute yaar, like they love Feedi so much that’s why against all the odds they want a happy Farhad at the end. That’s why it hurts too but again it’s the performance more than the character I feel, I’m going to cherish this performance so much, and yes in every love story the stupid boy dies, maybe here too, he’s stupid afterall, Kon karta hai aisa
