Aekiel and Esprit pilij give me your opinions on that Ekta reboot on Sony, the clips I saw online seem too gloomy and darkish in terms of the visuals😆 and I'm not sure if I should give it a try🤔

The reviews I read said it's not as good compared to the original one. Somehow I just can't digest that Nakuul is doing an EK show. Itna troll karta rehta tha banda 😆

Yeah she hasn't done much work - i watched her show Reporters and there was another drama long ago that was based on a Pak drama Dhoop Kinare, and she played the role of Dr Zoya (or the version of).

Mehwish Hayat, i find a bit plastic lol ... but still good - in Pak actors, i do like Maya, Mahira, Sanam Saeed, Sanam Baloch, Saba Q, Sajal.

Speaking of Kritika, has anyone seen that movie Mitron? I really liked her there as well. Wonder why it didn't get much hype, I thought the movie was decent compared to the usual BW trash we mostly get nowadays.

I didn't watch the first one in entirety so I am not sure ... however, I do want to know sincerely if the s/l, plot etc is the same??

I like Disha as Priya in it - she gives Kashaf vibes from ZGH ... and the setup is the same; father remarried cuz there were 4 daughters with first, and then he got a son (who is a loser) from second wife. I do find the characters of father n step-family to be OTT - i think ZGH was more subtle in showing that.

Nakul as Ram K is so far in devdas mode - unable to come out of a girl who ditched him and married another rich person ... his friends circle is fun and interesting to watch. He belongs to the fake snob rich circle where every relation is a pretense basically but the dude is a nice guy at heart ; his family kinda sucks.

I am liking it - there is also some mystery elements, which are only flashed across so will unfold as story progresses... and as i mentioned before if it turns into too much evil vamp type drama i may stop. The father and step-family stuff bothers me a lot.

As for Ekta show ... it doesn't quite feel like the typical soapy stuff she sells ... this one has a good pace and real looks - like Priya wears simple regular clothes and no made up look - which i like.

no i haven't watched ... it's been a while any BW movie held my attention span ... all recent ones i have FF watched.
