The sandal scene in the promo - I did instantly thought Cinderella (and then shook it off) but as i was thinking about it more - it has that whole Cinderella meeting her Prince Charming vibe. And its symbolic in a way.

Like Cinderella - Anupamaa is/was treated like a house maid and taunted, restricted, and not allowed to go anywhere and then meets her Prince Charming and he does the whole slipper things.

Anuj also bending down to put her sandal on, also shows he has no ego and is a gentleman. That he will put Anupamaa above all etc

I had commented last night in a post that the scene is reminiscent of Cinderella and Prince Charming.

He really is. The way Kinjal said those words to Anupamaa that she might find a friend who is missing her life.

But Anupamaa is missing a lot in the sense of companionship too. Also to experience love, respect and acceptance

Acceptance also comes from Anuj seeing her how we see her too, the way she looks right now too. I know some ppl want her to change her look but he also needs to see her how she is in her looks right now too and more the anything Anupamaa’s heart is what matters and look upon.

Yes even I want to see gradual change in her look but right now I’m ok with it per situation and story and also I feel the makers will highlight it and the age looking difference in both Anuj and Anupamaa
