I never saw anyone admitting they have copied a song anyway. Even when the song is one on one.

They call it getting inspirationsmiley36

I see there is similarity in more than a few notes, that is enough for me to call it a copied.

@bold: I read too much 😆

@red: “There’s not much one can do if directors present us with a song and instruct us to abide by that template,” Shah explained. “Then what we do is alter it a bit, present it to the filmmaker. The tune is okayed. My job is also done. Otherwise, who wants to copy tunes when there’s a wealth of Indian folk music across so many states?”

Yeah the best thing to do is put the blame on someone else.

I didn't want to copy, he forced me. What could I do?

Can we get more childish than that😆

Most of Rajesh Roshan's songs, even the beautiful old ones were copied.

Even Shantanu Moitra copies. Amit Trivedi and A R Rahman copy little portions of unknown indie type songs.

There's a thing known as pressures from producers, actors and music labels 😆

But I don't expect you to understand 😆

You shouldn't.

End of the day, some one worked harder and they deserve the credit

That’s valid that Credit should goto OG composers

But blame shouldn’t be reserved for just composers of the remade song. You can see the people in charge (producers are also complicit and sometimes it’s their idea)
