This one isn't copied, Akele Hai Toh Kya Ghum Hai is...Mansoor Khan had directed a short film called "Umberto" as an audition to present to Nasir Hussain and he asked music directors Anand-Milind to make The Shadows ka song for his film...that was sung by Udit and Poornima...later on he reused it in QSQT.

Then how are the two songs so similar sounding?
Coincidence?
That way Salaam-e-Ishq's title song has an uncanny resemblance at multiple places with Kasam Se from Jaanwar.
Aye mere humsafar has a different story, but that one is not copied.

Ya so Salaam-e-ishq might be copied too. What's the problem with that? It's not the first time we come across a copied theme in bollywood.
Both the songs from QSQT sound same as S&G and The Shadows songs
One can't have that much of resemblance and also claim to come up with it by themselves.

When did I say its a problem 😆 Even for the S-E-I song, I don't think its copied, but there are 7-12 notes, and sometimes it happens. 😆
There are a bunch of songs that share a resemblance, intentional or no.
This does not seem like that one to me.

I have wondered, how come Bolly songs almost NEVER have a resemblance to anything international song that came AFTER them?

There have been instances of those too...most popular being Its My BDay from Urvashi Urvashi.
And you should check out Chutney music, its Indian-Bihari-Bollywood style fused with Caribbean beats, crated by Indo-Caribbean people. You'll find so many remakes there 😆

How do you know?😆
I never saw anyone admitting they have copied a song anyway. Even when the song is one on one.
They call it getting inspiration
I see there is similarity in more than a few notes, that is enough for me to call it a copied.

That's different. Urvashi Urvashi was sampled by William AFTER giving credit to the original. Also Chutney music is largely created by Caribbeans of Indian descent, so it's not really a comparison.
You'll never find any international musician making any music with uncanny resemblance to any Indian creation. It never happens.
