Also, the sound recording/dubbing at the beginning is so bad. It is so obvious they are recording their voice in a studio. I am surprised at the lack of quality for such a big budget film.

What big budget? Watch, the budget will get progressively lower as the box office returns come in (or don’t;) In the end Kangana’s PR will turn this into a small budget film that massively over performed given all the trials and tribulations it and the queen faced to create and release it.

We've already been told that they turned down record OTT premiere rates. But since it goes OTT two weeks later they probably got record non premiere rates. (Salman Khan, Askay Kumar who?) So what it makes in theatrical doesn't matter. It'll be declared a blockbuster!

I could be wrong, but I assumed it was intentional to recreate the old-timey studio-movie feel.

For somebody who is always praised for her acting chops, she did an awful job of a vintage actor. I have been watching old songs for a while now, She is just going OTT with the expressions and I wish she had given a proper go to it, that is if she really is as good as everybody says.

They wanted to create the ambience of romance of old movies but somehow it didn't seem to be genuine and heart-felt.

ETA...Kangana is looking pretty, though.

What hypocrisy the advertising is to "bring back" Indian romance...and they harp or try to make it a story of a relationship that both sides in real life, tried very hard to keep secret, basically regression to a time in films and history of cult idolization to the point of servitude, when a closet lesbian and a very married man, could carry on an affair that would have destroyed socially and physically any other regular couple. Nevermind the political corruption and the misdeeds by politicians, that started trends that have kept an entire nation in a regressive pattern for over 70 years of misused independence.

Kangana is such a hypocrite, she is a polar opposite of herself on how she choses to voice her interests and her critiques of others and then in what she choses to show or try to push into peoples mind....What a huge discredit and fraud the entire thing is...But we are seeing a text book-case example of bipolar personality in living color, how she says one thing yet is looking to be cult idolized and her frauds and misdeeds accepted, as well as her exaggerated shows of wealth before hungry eyes, just because she is entitled....

Aw! India the problem is not kangana the problem is the rest of you... get your mind out of the past and into this century and year 2021 a world ravaged by a created bio weapon and with world powers being ran by people with dementia and personal interests... GOD please save the innocent from too much suffering, BUT if we have to go to hell in a handbasket, let it be knowing and screaming out reality, not that lying frippery and fake bull s--- she is pushing.
